OH GOD, I'VE BEEN SAYING FOR OVER 3 YRS NOW THAT THESE TWO FANTASTIC BANDS SHOULD DO A JOINT TOUR TOGETHER AND WOW, HERE IT IS. NOW THIS WILL BE AMAZING, CANT WAIT.
Love James & Brett ❤ I was a little more into Manics than Suede back in the day, but I can honestly say now that I love both of these legendary bands ❤ They match perfectly for a tour, what a gem ❤
James, the Anti frontman? Depends on how you define frontman. To be honest, he's doing a great job. For years I was blinded by these shallow Britpop idiots who did everything on stage but nothing for the music. Back then I hated guitar solos and then came the Manics ... Their guitar solos provide proof that it's about music, not ego! And that's exactly the way the Manics are. That's why I love them & their stage presence. And if the gigs coming soon weren't in this fucking double pack (sorry!), I would definitely be there too. But nevermind! The Manics saved my life, without the music I would have said goodbye to this world long ago. But now I'm done with being dumb. Here again explicitly from an admirer to the artist with your permission: You are a real frontman, doing everything for the music. I love this modesty. And I know what it's like when you just want to get out of a situation like that. That's how I feel every time in the shitty dull internal meeting with all the other teachers. Looking at the ceiling. Raus, raus! Thanks for everything, JDB! 🙏
Suede was never britpop. They were so unique and great..or are. Saint Etienne, same thing. So underappreciated. Good Humor is one of the best albums from the 90s.
2024 will also marked the 30 years anniversary of The Holy Bible and Dog Man Star, both my favourite albums of the bands. Ideally I'm hoping they'll play those albums in it's entirety or at least playing lots of songs from those albums
"You're from the 90's!" This is my daughters line to me whenever I moan (daily) about the modern world 😂 I was 8 when the decade started and 18 (obviously) when it ended. Perfect age for a perfect time.
7:57 James properly analysing what Chris just said. 😆 Tbh Chris got it bang on. James is a musician, first and foremost, and the kind of cocky performer-type attitude of a frontman has never been there. He's a messenger, more than anything. Because he's always had Nicky by his side, shouldering much of that performance side of things, that's definitely made it easier for him.
He did have a bit of cockiness when manics first started, not in the same manner of a mick jagger but 91/92 James was very frontman and he progressively could take it or leave it I think 😂
omg, I missed them playing in Toronto (I had to work...bleh) but my birthday is June 28th and I would murder to see this show.....sadly, I live in Ontario, Canada and this isn't likely to happen.
Seeing them tonight night at the Eden Sessions.
So excited!!!!!!
UK it’s going to be magic. Bringing back wonderful memories. ❤❤❤
J D B'S ONE LEG SPIN IS JUST AS BEAUTIFUL A MOVE AS TORVILLE AND DEANS BOLERO......5.6 FROM THE UK JUDGES.

Saw this combo in Vancouver last November. I was a bit disappointed that Brett referred to it as a tour of the States. We loved you in Vancouver!
Ouch. Canada doesn't exist to them
Just a faux pas
It would be wonderful to have both bands playing in Buenos Aires. People from the 90's (and I am one of them)are waiting for you, guys!

Saw them in Cardiff castle last weekend!!! Amazing!!! So much so, I cheekily nabbed a ticket for Leeds this weekend

MSP have already done their Holt Bible tour a few years ago. I don't think Suede have done an exclusive Dog Man Star album tour yet though.
Saw them on Wednesday in Edinburgh.suede played the wild ones but the manics did nothing from the holy bible.
Going to see them tomorrow in Taipei. Can't wait!
Brett looking like Sacha Distel :)
Cant wait , love em both .

Wrong info given. The tour does not end in Edinburgh on July 20th.
Nice to see GEOFF LLOYD in great company

Tiger supported maniac and were great. Also subcircus supporting suede
Don't think James appreciated the anti front man comment from Chris. He's a great front man!
I really don't get the anti-frontman statement.James is an amazing singer, guitarist and musician, heis just amazing.

Vu en 1994 à Montpellier Rockstore avec Richard Edwards qui se mutilait avec sa guitare! 30 ans déjà 😂
is Alexandra palace park outdoor
Brett Anderson looks like my Grandad.
I hope James wears his balaclava on stage like he did on top of the pops on 1994.
Crackin interview😊
OOH YOU BETTER BE PLAYING IN LIVERPOOL.
