About washing your hair less..... So I wash my hair every 6 days/ once a week and have done for over a year since the first UK lockdown started. I used to wash it every 3 to 4 days and it would get really greasy by the end. It still gets greasy by that point now, or of it doesn't get greasy it'll still start to not smell fresh. The only difference is is my hair is longer now so it's less noticeable when it's greasy. Honestly don't wash your hair every day do it whenever is right for you. The only reason why I didn't go back to Washing it more is because it is healthier now and my scalp is healthier cause it's not being stripped

does anyone have any cute hairstyles for pin straight hair? my hair has no volume and it doesnt hold heat curls or waves so i never have any idea of what to do with it
My hair is so strange, because when I don't do anything to it, it's pin straight. But when I touch the front parts a certain way, it gets wavy. No heat, no iron. It's really manageable. What kind of style is my hair?
I remember when I was little, I didn’t realize my hair was naturally wavy and was not completely straight. So I was so confused as to why when I combed my hair to be straight it would just spring into its original shape and at the time I just did understand i was just full: ???
Hope this helps: Section your hair into 1, 2 and 3 Now follow: 1 2 3 1 3 2 3 1 2 3 2 1 2 3 1 2 1 3 Keep repeating this pattern and keep tightening the locks after every time so that it doesn't loosen up. Do it slowly slowly at first, you will be able to do it smoothly eventually. Also before trying it on yourself maybe you should try tying things like ribbons or shoe laces into braids....
Oh so if I wash it frequently my hair will be oily? (I normally wash it once a week cause I’m a lazy bun 🙃) and it’s SUPER dry and SUPER FRIZZY (I have wavy hair)
NO. Don't believe that stupid myth. Wash as much as you need to for reasonable hygiene. Your scalp will not change depending on hair washing frequency. Your genetics decide how oily or dry your scalp is. Shampoo isn't gonna change that. Experiment with conditioners, masks, dry end serums and whatever to make your hair look better.
Hey!! Idrk how to help but here’s some advice that you may have already thought about.. Have you tried an apple cider vinegar wash? I do this once every two months (ish) and it gets rid off any bi-products or build up. This will leave you with a sorta blank canvas? Then maybe try using a different brand of whatever product you use or a different combo? I have 2 curl custards, one of the, works the other makes my curls flat and stringy... Also plop, and disused kn a low setting (I don’t diffuse but that’s cow our hairdryer is broken haha) Let me know if this helps? It’s probs stuff you’ve already thought about hahaha Good luck with those curls!! Xx
@Lady Libra Hey, see with long hair, how do you get the bounce at the top? My hair when pulled out reaches just below my chest and when curly (which is how I always have it) its pretty much inline with my chest... the problem is that it curls really nicely from like my temple down but above that and at my roots its pretty much straight. Idk if that's just my hair, like it just kind of goes straight down and then in ringlets or if it is able to curl from the top and out rather than down... do you have any suggestions? Maybe I just need to cut it shorter... sorry for the long message but thanks so much for any advice xx
Ok so story about my hair... I am growing my hair out so that it’s kinda long and it gets in my way sometimes especially since my bangs have grown out and it gets tangled easily and stuff so when it gets tangled I get like my mum or my sister to untangle it for me so this one time my brother in law was sitting in the living room when I took the hair brush to my sister and asked her to do my hair and she was like yeah sure so she was doing my hair and my brother in law just randomly looked up at me and was like cut your hair I was like excuse me he was like why don’t you just cut your hair you can’t even look after it anyway and I was here we go again he was like just cut it until you can actually look after it yourself and my sister was egging him and and I was like you know what I ain’t gonna cut my hair that has taken me almost 2 years to grow out because of you or anyone else and from then on he never said a word abt cutting my hair to me ever again... This my friend is how you sort out people who are trying to crush your dreams
not applying conditioner to your roots an actually cause dandruff bc your stripping the natural oils with your shampoo and then not adding any moisture back which in turn can cause dryness and/or greasy hair!
If you braid your ponytail then put hair spray on it, after the braid, while at work or school. Then take it down after school or work you have a nice curl before going out. That's the easiest ever. My hair has to be in a bun because I work around food, so I braid my ponytail into a bun and it's been crimping for 10 hours. I just change my clothes ASAP, fix my my makeup then let down my hair and reapply hair spray to keep it one place.

Me too. I actually can braid two braids on the sides of my head, but everytime they are loose and not that beautiful 😭😭
I can braid my hair in 2 pieces (not perfect but who cares) but I have yet to master one braid
Don't worry girl, I am 26 and still can't braid my hair to save my life 🙃
Hope this helps:
Section your hair into 1, 2 and 3
Now follow:
1 2 3
1 3 2
3 1 2
3 2 1
2 3 1
2 1 3
Keep repeating this pattern and keep tightening the locks after every time so that it doesn't loosen up. Do it slowly slowly at first, you will be able to do it smoothly eventually.
Also before trying it on yourself maybe you should try tying things like ribbons or shoe laces into braids....
@@dhruvityagi9806 thank you so much!! I tried this on my sister hair and it works!!Though idk if it works on my hair but I will try it
I have curly hair but when I brush it it turns poofy can someone explain why they are brushing there hair but it’s curly and turns out good
1:48 bad advice especially for poc it will cause breakage brush your hair when there’s conditioner in it
Oh so if I wash it frequently my hair will be oily? (I normally wash it once a week cause I’m a lazy bun 🙃) and it’s SUPER dry and SUPER FRIZZY (I have wavy hair)
NO. Don't believe that stupid myth. Wash as much as you need to for reasonable hygiene. Your scalp will not change depending on hair washing frequency. Your genetics decide how oily or dry your scalp is. Shampoo isn't gonna change that. Experiment with conditioners, masks, dry end serums and whatever to make your hair look better.
@@Maialeen thanks 😊
9:54 I think she’s so beautiful!

I need help curly hair folks. I have natural curls that just don't bounce anymore. What should I do and what are the best products?
Also plop, and disused kn a low setting (I don’t diffuse but that’s cow our hairdryer is broken haha)
Let me know if this helps? It’s probs stuff you’ve already thought about hahaha
Good luck with those curls!!
Woah that‘s true actually cause‘ that happened to me!
Ain't nobody got time for that. I just put mine in a ponytail and done. These are cute though
@@christins.1481 Im interested in how you make a braid into a bun. I really suck at hair but I always have to have my hair up as well!
