Honestly my biggest issue with THW is just how quick toothless was to ditch Hiccup. Like, surely you wouldn't permenantly ditch your best friend of 5 to 8 years (I don't remember how big the jump is between the second and third movie) just because you saw a pretty girl. It seems especially profound when you look at scenes in the second movie such as when he looks to hiccup for confirmation that he can go and eat during the flying with mother scene. Or when you bring into consideration that he broke through the control of the bewilderbeast because of his strong bond with hiccup or when he challenged the bewilderbeast, a dragon easily a hundred times his size (that probably could have killed him) just to protect hiccup.
There was a year between the two movies. In universe, the first and second movies are five years apart. That would mean Hiccup and Toothless's friendship lasted for six years at the end of the third movie.
I don't think that was Gloria that the monstrous nightmare killed. I'm pretty sure that was a wild boar because I saw a tusk sticking out from underneath the nose.
The Easter egg is based off a joke from one of the animators joking it was Gloria. And the tusk was probably one of the dragons claws. I don’t mean to that guy
Hiccup’s shield in the TV series seems like a Captain America reference as his shield is made of a special metal (Gronkle Iron) that’s stronger and lighter than regular steel and iron, just like Captain America’s vibranium shield
I was quite satisfied with this video as a big fan, if not the biggest, but when u mentioned the nine realms it uncovered that you don't get this franchise at all.
When hiccups mom said “all dragons have a queen but this is the king of all dragons” to the giant bewilder beast but that means the one that toothless defeated is a girl it was a queen
when i watched it I considered the Red Death in the 1st movie as the Queen of her hive on dragons' nest but the Bewilderbeast is higher in their hierarchy so it's the king of all dragons
In Trollhunters they we’re playing a game of maces and talons one time that another reference also I knew about 99% of this and yep I knew about the tail and I prefer the original httyd but I like nine realms also gobber thought that definitely wasn’t as important as a list of dragons going to auction and where there being kept ha ha
The reference to the submaripper episode in race to the edge is very suspiciously simmilar to the OceanGate accident. (The part where Hiccup is trapped in the sub).
