Oreo is still buggy and the V30 is getting Android 8 Oreo. There is no Dxoscore for the LG V30 posted, last I looked today. What I really would love to see is 4K and 1080p video, Photos and Audio comparison.

I think most of us watching this are more interested in the differences between the phones that you personally noticed while using them, what the battery life was like, etc. We can just look up the specs if that's what we want. I thought the format and editing of the video was very nice, however.

LG V30 seems to be getting really good reviews. Would be great if you could compare it with the Pixel 2XL, iPhone x, Note 8 cameras. If the LGs camera comes even close in low light I will buy it just for that amazing DAC and the fact that it still has 3.5mm jack.
I say this as a user of an iPhone for 6 years and last year I switched to a nexus and now a Pixel 2, I could not go back to iOS it's so restricted and frustrating and surprisingly unintuitive compared to a lot of stuff on Android, which will get even better on Android P (I'm currently running P Beta)

It's rather astounding that people would actually buy either of these devices. They're neither the best specifications you could get in their respective fields, nor the most exciting and definitely not the most economical. I'm not saying people should get iPhone 6S's or literally any other Android device and save themselves a lot of change, but I merely want to point out that the only selling point for these devices is the latest software. Would I like all phones to get consistent software updates and the latest from Apple and Google respectively? Yes. However, that should not be the selling point for inferior devices that actually make the experience worse for people who "upgrade", with a lack of a headphone jack, small batteries, unimpressive screens and lackluster hardware that can be outdone in speed-tests against cheaper devices like the OnePlus 5. If this is the best Apple and Google want to offer, then the industry is really going downhill. tl:dr When somebody buys a "flagship", they should get the best of the best. Period. Not a compromise.

Apple’s got their customers in the bag because of their ecosystem, but Google is making it really easy to switch and that unlimited cloud storage, higher resolution and battery has got me sold. The only thing I’m not certain about yet is the performance. The A11 chip has left everyone in the dust and once all the bugs are fixed in iOS11, the iPhone will be flawless in usage. Hmm! Decisions decisions... I hate Apple for not bringing anything more innovative to the 8, but it looks like they focused all their powers on the chip which, it must be said, is very important.
I got the Pixel 2 and it's a really great phone. It's so odd how so many iPhone users around me say how much better their phone is, while I take better pictures, videos, and has much better stabilization for video, and how much better Google assistant works vs Siri and how I was able to text ANYBODY at cursing altitude on a plane b/c the PIxel 2 allows text via wifi vs the iPhone limitation , yet, their iPhone is "so much better" and, somehow, significantly [superior]. um... it is not those things. There's decent qualities with both and BOTH phones have different superior to the other specifics and some equal. However, the one thing that Apple company has been successful is brainwashing so many people.
These comparison videos are poor I appreciate that you want to be impartial but I want to see reviews that give genuine user experience opinions and not simply a run down of the specs of each phone For me the pixel 2 is a let down, it borrows many of its features from other phone (HTC u11 for example) and has very little innovation of its own.....even the internals are a let down for a Q4 release....at least the original pixel had the slightly improved 821 processor last year C'mon Saf time for some blunt honesty in your review videos
My daily drivers right now is the iPhone but I’m thinking about changing my phone to the google pixel 2 even though I never used a android phone so there is a learning curve to it. EDIT: comment or like if your the same as me or not and why
This is the toughest decision for a phone I've ever had to make. Simply because the Pixel camera and unlimited storage is worthwhile enough. I'm switching from a SE. But the only reason I don't go with Google yet because there goes all my privacy.

Theo my s4, s5, s6 and s8 all became unusable after 2 years of updates that did nothing but slow the devices down. Only reason i had those was for developing. Android never again.
Its basically an Android vs iOS debate, choose what you prefer. However, the Pixel is one of many Android phones, it doesnt do many things better than other cheaper devices so i couldnt care less about it.
