I love the tool. It would have been about 100x better if you could have given us some markings, notches, anything really to help us calibrate the two sides to assure we're still square. This kind of takes the advantage of having a MFT (squareness) and eliminates it. Allows you to more easily introduce errors into your work. With all that being said this is great and why someone didn't think of it earlier is beyond me.

Needs markings, like parallel guides. Than I will buy it.

It's a shame you don't realize how useful some of your products are for CNC workshops like mine. These are unbelievably useful in CNC context. People don't realize that shifting material is the problem, not clamp down pressure. Having an MFT formatted spoil board, coupled with your dogs and stops makes for a nearly complete setup. All you need to do is make some stops that have low profile clamping and you've completed the set!

Hongdui china sells a similar product. But they cannot be used on edge like this tso product. Because the dogs on the hongdui cannot be locked. You can only use the longer face.

Painful clamping steps? Let's not over exaggerate. Two clamps vs. (from what I see in your demo) 3 bars, each with two screws to tighten with another tool (don't misplace it), plus two additional dogs. Now that's 5 pieces and 6 screws to deal with vs 2 clamps. I understand the need to boost the newest tool by putting down all other proven methods, but in this case each tool has its own usefulness and they can all work together for infinite possibilities.

I know. They’re making tools just for the sake of selling something. Utterly pointless

I just made cabinets with this over the weekend. While I agree that the clamp example is kind of silly, this is the best solution I've seen for repeatable cuts so far. The one obvious thing that they missed the mark on is some sort of marking system to calibrate the two sides. It's really easily to generate a repeatable mistake.

For $160 you don't even supply a 5mm hex? Come on now. This is overpriced for the risk of having lateral movement with just two screws coming through the channel. The top nut would have to be dead tight so we don't enter the disappointing MFT rail slop issues. If you are just going to push the end into the stock then might as well get the horz clamps from festool for less.

I've never bought a TSO product, I think they are overpriced and I have always been able to find a comparable or better product at a much better price.

Once you buy one you’ll understand the value. Nothing compares. Everything else is a cheap knock off.
