Had to explain to him what beads are and why I was ulting the person that didn’t get them lmao. He thought I was bad and had no idea I was ulting people with no beads or when beads were burned.
If they really want Ares to be the aura item champ, then make his passive so that it increases the potency of auras from items. If you want it broken, then like 50 percent better, increased to a 100 when 2 is active.

Hachiman's passive gives him a real benefit over other hunters especially in metas where mp5 items aren't optimal in hunter builds. Honestly Ishtar's passive is probably worse, very easy to proc it and then just wait for it to run out before fighting, and even when it does go off it gives at most 20% attack speed for 10 seconds.
I cannot wait for you to get to Ymir. Him and bacchus have been my go to for solo, I usually do conduit but WOW rangdas is something to behold, you build poly, Thoth, Bancrofts claw, manticores, I like chronos pendant (or any item you really need) and wow it’s insane on both of them especially Ymir having that 2 second poly.
I wonder, Mast, when you said you're gonna play the gods as they're meant to be played, does that mean guardians will all be played in support role? Just asking 'cause I kinda feel like Artio and Cthulhu belong more into solo maybe. ANd 'cause I like to play them there and would love to see you play them there. :D
I usually just pick up Spear if I wanted to push a bit more damage, since it increases damage taken from your team as well. Mast is saying that to get full value from your mage power as Ares, you have to stick to your target for so long. Most of the times you're probably not getting that value. Spear though, all you need is just 1 tick and it helps your teammates too

Is it actually the worst passive in the game? (genuinely curious) It's definitely shit but Hi-rez has come up with some stinkers over the years. Rama passive is his 1 recharges over time basically... Like every other ability in the game. Sobek gets max 30 prots at lvl 20 after hitting 3 abilities which stings even more since his ult is just go underground and be useless for 5 seconds Remember when wukong passive was crit? The auto attack memes were fun tho
You can also stack sobek passive from autoing waves so you can at least have the prots pretty consistently while in lane, plus it's 13 prots at level 1 which is a decent amount.
@@EpicAssassinPwny You recieve a whopping 10 mana back if you pick up an arrow but arrows only have a 30%+1 per level chance of dropping and it's not always possible to pick your arrows up without inting. Has no effect on ult cdr, just recharges his 1 since it doesn't recharge on it's own.
@@TheMirksta It's really not.. You mitigate a measly 2 damage from an adc's auto at level 1 with fully stacked passive. The big update hirez did to early game tankyness made sobek passive which already wasnt great, almost irrelevant.

Sorry but you’re blatantly wrong if you say Ares passive is bad, you can solo junglers late game with 4 or more auras and be tanky. It’s also one of the only passives with Ymir’s that allows him to do dmg to other supports
you can do the math if you really care about it but even with a bunch of auras Ares passive only adds a little over 100 damage on a combo after mitigation
