Awsome Daran, grreat camera work . From an ex Hang-glider pilot of SE Wales Cub aged 78 . My last flight was back in 1990 0n a Highway Demon . What fantastic days they were.
Thanks Peter! With these new 360 cameras you capture the entire scene and then basically point the camera during the editing part. Which makes it take a lot longer of course....
I was in Ager in the late 80's a while ago now. On a Magic 3. Had my best height ever there 10,000ft. Most memorable flight was flying formation with an Eagle.
First time I've watched a glider race, that looks like a lot of fun! Congrats on completing it and making top ten. An impressive number of people flying, and really neat tech that you can watch all the logs.
Thanks John! I have a much worse arrival to show soon... this one at least I can say was downwind - I had a look at the video and saw the wind actually switched after I flew past the windsock, I was basically screwed!
Enjoyed that Darren, nice and simple but made me realise I actually want to go flying again. Currently nursing shoulder injury, hoping for pleasant 2025!

Fantastic place to fly isn't it! 10,000ft... it's a magical number
@@MooSurfer Bit chilly too, even in Spain in August :-)

It is the MOST fun!! I started this in 2012 and haven't looked back since.
Always a pleasure to watch your videos and adventures.
Thank you!
Darren as your fan I can’t wait more for the Pre world videos!
Merry Christmas
Great explanation for studying before flying there for the first time. Thanks Darren!
Hi Darren. Thank you for taking us back to sunny Ager after a grim week... (Kudos for including the arrival)!
Thanks John! I have a much worse arrival to show soon... this one at least I can say was downwind - I had a look at the video and saw the wind actually switched after I flew past the windsock, I was basically screwed!
Good Job Darren and thanks for sharing!!

Glad you enjoyed it!
Top 10 Daren great result. Unlucky on the early start. Great Video love all the info!.
Cheers Pete... though turns out the start wasn't my biggest mistake! Yes - I think the extra info adds to it.
Awesome footage but where has the singing gone
I was paid off by the Brits never to sing again. And they threatened to break my legs if I did... ;-)
@ I bet you got a whole lot of money Darren !
@@andersvikingsvensson8762 CHEEKY!!!
Wow that looks like so much fun. Do you have a parachute in that bag you lie in, in case of a mid-air collision?
Yep I have a parachute... in some of my videos you can see it - it is the red handle on the left of my harness
Hey so what's your opinion on the moyes now?
Not bad I guess ;-)
Ager? Is that left at Glen Coe or right at Castleton 😀
