Rammstein are a fantastic band who never shy away from saying how it is.
When this was first released there was so much controversy due to the Holocaust scene, but it needed to be done since that forms part of German history, and they did it superbly.

Hello.
I'm from Germany so let me give you some thoughts from someone who was born here. First of all, the first time I watched the video I was shocked and deeply moved. The song/video takes a very deep look into our German souls and how a lot of us feel about our country. It's a love-hate relationship. The video is loaded with tons of symbols, that as a German you catch onto.
Let's start: in the intro you see Germania (personification of Germany) during roman/ germanic tribes time. The red lazer represents the "red thread" of the story/history.
Astronauts from the future bringing Germania in a glass coffin (snow-white) so she can lead through the/her German history. You see a submarine in the hangar.
Next you observe the twenties (Weimar Republic). The prison scene representing the rough, violent times especially for the majority of the population struggling to survive. Money raining down/ the great depression. And Germany's first attempt as a democratic state.
In between Germania is dressed in knight's armor awing her knights/band with the Lazarus spear.
Next Germania is pushed in a wheelchair by the band through the Berlin Holocaust Memorial with burning bodies. (Imagine the statue of liberty being shown like that. Sorry couldn't come up with an equivalent image of Britania).
Next vignette the office scene showing east Germany and west Germany reunited (1990).
Then you're being taken back to mideveal times, monks/ church are feasting off of Germania. In most scenes you'll see some church man involved. No coincidence.
The concentration camp scene in the background you see V2 rockets ignition. The inmates are wearing different types of stars on their chests and a sign on the gallows reads: no photos. Germania wears an eye-patch first on her left, than on her right eye. Than a quick shot of Germania dressed modern with lots of gold leading German shepherds., representing Germany's wealth.
The 70's scene shows the RAF extremists holding Germania/ Germany hostage.
The tank scene with the Marx bust represents the uprising of June 1953 in the GDR, which was bloodily suppressed by the USSR army.
Next vignette is the witch burnings shifting to the book burning. If you have a close look, at minute 4:45 you see a church man holding up a cross hugging a Nazi, symbolising the churches over all position to the horrific events happening during 1933-1945.
The birth scene. Taking place in Valhalla. Germany is giving birth to dogs respectively "Leonberger" a breed preferred by Kings and Queens. The breed almost went extinct during WW1 and WW2. A cardinal/ Constitutional judge (dressed in red) helping a new Germany being born.
At minute 5:50 you see the riots against refugees homes in the 90's in Hoyerswerda. Molotovs are being thrown and a car is being pushed over with the help of a man dressed in Nazi uniform.
Than the scenes/ time vignettes start shifting faster and faster, showing how many times, when circumstances becoming too extreme everything is falling apart and Germania ( dressed in knight's) armor is crying.
The outro is the piano version of the song "Sonne" which completes how we feel thinking of our past: a sense of sadness.
To sum it up. Germany has a long, wild, violent, unique history, because we as a state of today have only existed since 1990. Yet the roots go back a very long time. "Young and yet so old" I hope that helped a little to understand the video and with that us Germans. We don't have a strong feeling of patriotism, but a strong sense of unity.

In every part she has the perfect makeup representing the flag of the past gold and black (the armor is golden) Then in the 1900 she is black white and red. 3th reich she is black and red and black red gold in the present

It really is a remarkable video. One of my favourites of all time.
And yes you're right, it does confront various points in Germany's history, most notably the holocaust.
The scenes with the guys in drag in a shoot out while holding Germania hostage are intended to represent the 70s and 80s when there was a growing far-left extremism developing in the country, these people were aligned with the Communist movement of the Soviet Union.
The astronauts, I believe, are supposed to represent the future, which could suggest either rebirth or death, depending on how you look at it.

I think you have to be german to understand all the historical synonymous facts, but I think the first clip are from the battle of Teutoberg forrest where german tribes defeated and completely wiped out 3 legions from Rome in A.D 9

Some other stuff from Rammstein worth watching might be "Angst", "Ohne Dich", "Mein Herz brennt" or "Zeit". I also noticed you didn't react to Ukrainian music yet. Maybe you'd like to check "Pisces" from Jinjer or "Ghost love score" from the Finnish band Nightwhish. There's also an interesting cover of "Ghost love score" from an Israelian Band called Scardust. Btw: I really like you didn't interrupt the song and did the talking afterwards.

These astronauts represent the future of Germany, looking back at all that has been for over 2,000 years. Struggling, ambiguous, but still trying to preserve what should be preserved.

If you want a somewhat in-depth analysis of this video, look for the channel "Three Arrows". Why do I say "somewhat" when the analysis is over 30 minutes long? Because cramming 2000 years of history, plus political commentary into 8 minutes of video is a heck of an accomplishment. There's so much hidden in this, due to Rammstein's expertise at using the German languages ability to rephrase a whole sentence with a slightly different word. For example Till, the singer, uses the version of the first stanza of the German national hymn that uses the highly antagonistic "über allen" = "over all" instead of the original "über alles" = "above everything". The first was a direct commentary on how the Nazis abused and twisted the original meaning. This original meaning was a rallying call for the many disparate tiny Germanic nations into unifying into a single nation. And all of that changes with the simple switch of "alles" to "allen".
That's just one aspect that Till plays with so masterfully. Now imagine that virtually every scene has something like this hidden in it, either due to the visuals, or the lyrics, or a combination of both.
That's why a 30 minute analysis barely scratches the surface.
For me this music video is THE best music video ever made.
