Just found your channel, it’s great thank you. As an ex pat now living Western Australia, I love seeing London again on a fabulous channel. Great content 😊
Love the video Jess. You gave me some new places to find. How I miss the London street food and all the sights. I can't wait to get back there. Thanks for keeping me inspired to get back to London. To everyone seeing this video maybe for the first time, I think this channel is really good and Jess does give you amazing options. Great job Jess
Hi from Argentina! Love to see Mechi, one of my favourite instagramers, in this video. Hope you enjoyed the empanadas. Can't wait to visit London again and try all that street food!
It all looks so good. I have a list of around 100 restaurants in London that I'd love to try and the reality is that on our next trip there we'll have at most 9 or 10 days so the vast majority of places on the list we'll never get to. How amazing for people who live in London to have such a wonderful (and diverse) food scene at your fingertips!
Been waiting for the video ever since I saw you got together with Mechi 💪 I hope you liked our empanadas and I will be taking down notes of the different places you've visited since I'm da kween of street food when I travel (cause it's usually on a budget!) So great to see the channel is continuously growing and getting such interesting collabs 🤩 Love from Buenos Aires, Argentina! 💕
Went to Baba Gs in Vinegar Yard based on Jess' recommendation. I had a Loan Burger with Pacho Sides and absolutely loved it! We also loved the way to order food at Vinegar Yard: Grab a table, order your food using a QR code with your mobile phone and then relax with a beer whilst waiting for a text message to tell you that your food is ready! Brilliant!
The cheese burger burrito is going on a list of things to try! Never had a bilog. I really like doughnuts, feel like I should try this... plus I'm half Filopino. 😶
Mamasons pastry, bilog, is pronounced "bi-lowg" and translates to circle for your information ! Thanks to your videos I will for sure visit many of these places when I visit in December !
You are A-MA-ZING!! I'm an Argentine follower and I'm so happy that you show a tiny bit of our beutiful and delicious gastronomy. Love the chanel!! Greetings from Buenos Aires!!
I can't wait to travel back to London! And when that day comes, the jerk chicken wraps from One Love Kitchen in the Maltby Street Market are on my short list for things to eat! Loved the food and the friendliness of the ladies running the stand.
Jess maybe you should try Brazilian food. I believe there’s a restaurant nearby Wembley Stadium. You’ll love it. Then you can tell me if you like it. :)
I have had emanadas in the us (very good). Great tht London is so similiar to some large cities in the Us(so cosmopolitan), but different too. Sugarcane juice seems interesting. I tried some as a child years ago i hawaii, but they didn't market it . Have had UBE it's great, Your video was surprising in that it was more cosmopolitan food verses just English food, or Indian as we know about London in the US.
Those burritos tho 🤤 I like to make something similar (vegan as well), I call them burgeritos. Think I’ll give it a go with some of those other ingredients next time. Great video, can’t wait for the second part!
Thanks for showing this, makes me want to take the train into London for a day of street food! I am organising a corporate event and wanted to do something with street food but don't know where to begin. Any suggestions?
Hi Patricia, so glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching! We do provide services to help planners like you, just shoot us an email with more details and we can send more info. info@loveandlondon.com
Oh man, this line in the email made me feel so sad! "For some of our lovers (that's you guys), there's a small chance that a summertime London visit is on the cards." I was starting to feel confident our trip at the beginning of September was going to actually happen ... now I'm questioning again. I. Need. This. Trip. To. Happen! LOL!
Hi! Loved the food items shown in the video. I would like to know something. In India, egg is considered a non-vegetarian food item. In some faith, even onion and garlic are treated as non-vegetarian food items and prohibited from consuming. Is this the same back there in London?
Hey Subham! Re: egg, it depends on the vegetarian, but usually veggies will eat egg. Onion and garlic are always eaten by veggies unless there's a faith component but I am not sure how common that it is. Thanks for watching Subham!
Here, egg is a vegan thing, not a vegetarian thing. We class vegetarian as no meat, and vegan as no meat and no animal produce (so that includes milk, egg and honey too). Onion and garlic is considered vegetarian so you will need to ask for food without these if you don’t eat it.
@@loveandlondon Hi, thank you for responding! I plan to visit in several months, but do restaurants, malls, groceries, and other establishments require proof of vaccination to enter? I've heard England lifted all covid restrictions, but I just wanted to verify with you since you live there. Thank you!
It's kind of funny to think how many Mexican restaurants there are. I don't think I'll be coming all the way from Colorado for Mexican food. Do you suppose they have Hatch chilies? Lol
Loved filming and eating with you! Can't wait to do it again soon! xx
Loved eating with YOU! ♥️ Thanks for introducing me to something that I had never tried before!

Londoners are here for decades and don't eat it all. Thanks for watching Louie!

You have to check out the gnocchi at La Tua Pasta on Broadway market and then pop over to the little vegan market on th side too!
LA tua pasta was planned for this video but maybe the next one :) thanks so much Lea!
Darn that was one cool video regarding the diverse street foods in London! Never knew Filipino and Mexican food was popular there.

if you can find a Tunisian restaurant, you have to try our 'lablabi'

I think the halal street food festival that takes place in East London could also be included in the London street food guide.
Thanks!
I'd like to come in London (4th time!) But i can't understand how to do the 2nd day test for covid.. i got 2 doses of vaccine so i only need that
All info is on gov.uk website :)
Is there actually vegetarian jian bing there? They seemed to be cooking the meat on the same hotplates, so isn't there cross-contamination?
You'd have to ask them
Yummy
Are there any places in London with gluten/sugar free food?))
Tons of places have GF options! Sugar free will be a tough one though I'm afraid.

Noticed it's really difficult to find halaal food in London
there are a few accounts of Tiktok and IG that share halal food reccs!

Definitely depends on the area. Brick Lane would be a great place to find Halal food.
