The slides are not just colorful background. They are an integral part of the whole picture. Very sad to see good technology put to bad use. Annoying too.
It is not just shown at ~56, the slide deck is written in it: the whole presentation is the demo of the document application. That document application appears to have been called KSWorld. VPRI was working on a project to create new programming technologies called STEPS which ended in 2012 and then in about 2013 started winding down in general, closing doors at the beginning of 2018, according to Dan Amelang on Github (damelang/nile/issues/3). He himself ran into personal issues that led to him withdrawing from academic work or so (and so did I! but at least mine was at the Bachelor's level and I could go back and get my Master's) around when this happened, sadly. I can't find the source code for KSWorld just now.

Great talk . I don't know why but I like the thoughts of Alan Kay sir .

It would be a good thing that, instead of focus Alan Kay all the time, the camera would focus slides...!
What is this document application he is showing at ~56?

"there IS many good books" -> ARE
Why do people have trouble with IS and ARE and with WAS and WERE ?
Where to I get the Slides
email alan kay or go to VPRI's website.
The camera-work and production on this is a flaming disaster
