Game management - Ange cost us the chance to win. The players should have been changed at half time. Too many not affecting the game. I would have taken Romero off as he had lost focus and went walkabout.
Problem is top 8 is a good season for a club like spurs but they think they should be challenging for titles and playing champions league football every season.

Rome wasnt built in a day, but until all the pieces are in place you have to adapt how you play to make the most of your players strengths and minimise their weaknesses. Spurs will go around this merry-go-round of wanting entertaining football, then getting impatient and wanting a trophy, then not wanting pragmatic football, while winning nothing. Rinse and repeat.

Any manager worth his salt would have known Brighton would come for us at the start of the second half so keep it tight for the first 10 to 15 minutes and then go again sorry Ange won't last.
We have not improved, we were only good under Ange for his first 10 games ever since then we have been in mid table form
I can’t disagree with Simon enough. We were beating Chelsea with 9 men. There would have been nothing wrong with changing tactics and playing a bit more defensive. Beating Chelsea with 9 men would easily have been admirable enough. You need to be able to change tactics in a game.

I do think Ange has to find a balance, if he wants Tottenham to be a competitive team, but it took Arteta until season 22/23 to create a competitive team. The only thing that saves arteta somewhat is that he won a cup in his first season.
You also have to remember Arsenal is Arteta’s first Managerial position. And he won the FA cup in his first season. He spent years getting rid of dead wood.

It wasn't insignificant at all it was a big deal at the time. It showed given the right players he could do very well. Ange hasn't shown anything so your comparison is off

Martin keeps changing his mind as to whether or not he’s talking about Tottenham or Postecoglu. It took Arteta years before he could challenge for the premiership and they still haven’t won it, and some might say they bottled it twice. His passion for Arsenal is also clouding his ability to be completely objective about Postecoglu. We also have to remember that Mikel has spent much more time in the Premier League environment (and with one of the all time great coaches)then Ange has. So it may take him a little bit more time to adapt but Tottenham are a much better proposition now than they were when he arrived. Yes, he does have to adapt, but I think he should be given a bit more time. And I’m a Chelsea fan.

For how long people moaned about arsenal mentality? Arteta changed that from season one. It only took him time to get the players he wanted because we are not Chelsea or City in terms of funds and United in terms of stature. Give that man a credit he deserves. Change in a club starts with mentality, Spuds are stuck with it for decades now.
