The flexibility in voice is just unparalleled… don’t know how many years he must have spent in mastering this art.. huge respect for him and his work! 👌👌👌👌👌
Funny thing is he didn't even practice much, in comparison to others. He was just a natural genius.

This just proves that Gharana is just a training school that's it. No present Patiala Gharana singer can even come close to Rashid's emotional and powerful delivery of this thumri. No Kaushiki, no Ajoy no one.

hey buddy, ajoy and rashid are both different in their styles of presentation. both of them express different emotional feelings. ajoy might not be as aggressive as rashid but rashid also doesn't deliver sensational and delicate human emotions the way ajoy does.

AC is a master in thumri gayaki. The way he improvises . It's next level . This guy loves projecting his favourites as superior musicians. But his repertoire anx understanding of punjab ang gayaki is absymal. Agar khan sahb contemporary musician Hotey to unko v nahi chodhta hein

I remember, we missed his programme in Music in the Park in Jaipur and got lucky to hear him live in Delhi after so many years in a cultural evening in Delhi Haat opposite INA market. We all miss him.
