can you do a cheater arena? If you get two cheaters same server speed build a little walled area in the ice caps and spawn the two nuggets into the walled area with two rocks and gaslight them into fighting to see who has better cheats.

There should be a command for when the cheater fires their gun, it sends them into the sky for a flyhack. Instead of waiting for them to actually flyhack, as soon as the gun fires, it launches them sky high.
Or farm cheat or no clip or pick up stashes..
Just straight up *nope* the hell off the server.
I have more command ideas like it.
Instead of outright banning a cheater, just heavily inconvenience them. Esp'ing and aimbot; reduse their damage to almost 0. Stash hunting; for every stash they find they'll lose considerable health, perhaps even more for each time to make it impossible to heal from. If they flyhack, do all of the above and wait for anticheat to kick in.
If they still insist, redirect then to a anarcy server.
These are ideas for if I make a Rust server myself so I can keep the cheaters stuck on my server so they can be potential money pots for honest players because they could die so much
When they try to use a weapon it just gets dropped to the ground

Waiting for the day he can invert their mouse controls, hell, even movements for WASD... would loose ability to even move around 😊

This is a problem that is plaguing the entire games industry, and it's gotten worse as of late. I don't even play Rust. I watch you because it's so satisfying to see these knuckleheads get what's coming, no matter what game they're screwing up for everyone else, and I appreciate what you do. Good goin', m8.
Its basically any online game, especially with multiplayer at this point. Its so frustrating, especially when it seems that the devs don't care enough to try to stop it.
Its just competitive online games. Primarily FPS games. I've always preferred coop and single player due to it. Just not worth my time and effort but these videos are gold.
@@wheresmetiits a money thing. Facepunch doesn't earn enough to pay for the high tier anti-cheat. Even EAC has tiers as I understand it. Maybe one day AI will actually be used for something useful and will be turned loose to identify cheaters.

What if you 'fake-raid' the cheaters base as he's out of the base? Destroy doors, remove items from his boxes, break the workshops, etc. and just keep doing that to them. Pretty much, let them get far enough away from their base, do the 'fake-raid', and THEN take them down. So when they get back to their base to 'get back at you', they realize they have nothing.

@@mechanicer3105It actually would be pretty easy to create a detection system based on accuracy of fire. No one hits 100% of their shots. Or even 90% of their shots for that matter. Not to mention there are videos here on TH-cam that demonstrate script detection software that works perfectly. So yea, there's no excuse. They just don't want to put money into cheat detection because it will hurt their bottom line.

Is there no way to add a bot/plugin that checks all profiles for rust for gamebans and whatever else there is for tale tale sign it's a cheater? That way you can just have it flagged or insta-banned before they even respond on the beach?

Does this game have feature to mark someone account to be named "[CHEATER] name"? So it is only admin can give this mark and if this cheater change to another server, that mark will still appear

what servers does @camomo_10 look after? everytime i f7 report, they ask me for proof?? camomo actually investigates, how am i supposed to gather proof as a non-admin player without all the fancy tools lol?

They want you to clip it and send them the clip. I agree with you I’m just saying that’s what admins usually want since they are lazy. Only play servers which active/good admins. (All servers that are popular and have high pop)

@@drakinis1556 - Absolutely screws potato PCs though. I know Shadowplay is designed to be fairly lightweight, but they overestimate the capabilities of a lot of spuds.

Without admins, there would be no game. Everyone would cry that others cheated better than they could and then stopped playing after the normal players did.
Flyhack kick works when you throw them in the air because their cheats aren't spoofing any packet data when you throw them, it doesn't know it needs to be spoofing, but when they have the cheats activated and use them the cheat knows to send spoofed position/velocity packets. Flyhack will always be more effective when an admin throws someone in the air over using cheats to do it.

Hey Camomo I like the videos ❤. I noticed you were able to find the areas that he owned using a plugin, and I was thinking, would it be possible to leave bases and track the doors on them? That way if a cheater came back to the base and knew the codes, (proving it was their base) you could ban that account as well? I feel this idea of implemented would help with banning alt (bought) accounts from these dirty cheaters! Thanks!

they need to add active admin lists which people like you can create and maintain that any admin can add your active list. Sell your protection services as a hosting server at that point.
Games with this amount of cheaters are usually the abandoned ones, but Rust is still very much alive. They really need to do more to stop cheaters or they need to release Rust 2 if that will guarantee little to no cheaters ruining the game for others.

i quit rust and sold all my skins after the combat update, and do not regret it 1 single bit, this game has become frustrating and so unlike what rust used to be, keep in mind i'm a 2016 player with the mindset of what progression used to be in rust, this isn't it for me anymore, but the occasional video is lovely to see, to remind myself that becoming top 500 ranked in 2 other games is a great thing to have become instead of playing what is now a failure of a community with a game that doesn't have anything to show for itself

I have a lot of play hours in Rust and one of the things I have never been able to do was fly a mini safely. Seeing a cheater fly one pisses me off. It's pathetic that he can learn to do that but prefers to cheat. Suppose it's not hard but I never got the grasp of it.

Funny thing, with EAC update in may, some users cannot play the game at all (including me). It's been 2 months with an anticheat that doesn't work and the only solution facepunch is giving is to "play on unprotected servers" -_-
