Pretty much every dc character these days have a team of diverse special needs kids with the same powers as the hero called the ***** family in the comics. That's why this happened in flash and suddenly everyone in arrow became god level with a bow overnight. Its in the comics...and it sucks there too. And yes...it is crap writing that waters everything down.

Likewise for Little Nora and Bart - they were likely introduced to the speed force by Barry. Also, since she'd technically looks like their grandmother, this would sort of track? I guess? In Jay's case, she's a doppelganger for his wife so that one does make sense, it just so happens Jay's wife is also a doppelganger for Barry's mom. All that said, I doubt the writers actually cared. they just didn't want to cast another actor lol

Ok I was so so with Nora but when Bart referred to Jay as "Uncle Jay" that was cool. For those that don't know, in the old comics, the Flash Family Line even with the relative changes from the comics to the show, has always been established as Jay, Barry, Wally, Bart. With Jay being the father figure to Flash, but a grandfather or uncle figure to the younger generations like Wally and Bart.
Months later: Barry: "Wait, the literal Speed Force had a child!?" Jay: "Look, Barry gets to screw the timeline all the time..." Barry: "Yeah, METAPHORICALLY!"
Wally was supposed to be there but the actor said he was working on another project and at that time Canada had strict quarantine rules so he wasn't able to make it. But he was supposed to be there

The day barry had obtained his powers is the day the speed force was created. Barry is technically the father of the speed force. Its a comic accurate scenario. The show ruined it by saying it was made by barry and Iris love. It wasn't at all made from that. The speed force is the representation of reality in motion.
Iris: Are the other forces gonna help? Speed force: No they need to keep the universe in balance. *One season later* Forces: Let’s help Barry defeat reverse flash with the power of friendship!
My brother had a theory. That barry is the fastest by not using drugs or whatever. So godspeed from V9 and reverse flash from hatred. Barry is pure lightning. So in terms of not using any kind of drugs he is the fastest
Think about it. Jay who is a variant of Barry's father who is himself a variant of Barry(90s) is hitting on the speed force that looks like Barry's mother. In other words Barry's mom was married to a man who is a variant of her son. Jay Garrick = Barry's dad = Barry Allen(1990s) = Barry(Modern)
Exacly! Remember in season 2 how Barry had to go back in time to get faster to beat Zoom while risking the timeline to change. Now its just “we’ll give you a boost”. Can't say I love this show, cause I miss a lot of the episodes. But I do like when I catch it, it has a certain appeal about it. When I was growing up, my favorite superhero was Captain America, because one of the powers he possessed was, he was fast, plus the whole patriotic theme. A memory that sticks in my head, is a day in second grade, when I drew a picture, full color, of my favorite superhero in a race with the Flash & Quick Silver. In my version, Cap was at the lead, artistic license you might say, my picture, my vision. Anyways, a fellow classmate, named Steve, talked me into selling him the picture for a dollar, after offering me .50¢. Reluctantly I sold it, but regretted it ever since. All through school, my whole focus in Athletics was trying to be the fastest runner. Even entering a school sponsored Olympics in the Fifth grade, that brought none other than, Mr. Olympia himself, Arnold Swarsennager, as an official. When I got to High School, I'd spent my free gym time running the track. Even getting to my next class late, because I didn't stop until I wore myself out. So I really like the concept of this character, and the acting isn't half bad, Grant Gustin is a believable Flash. Plus, he ain't hard to look at either. Even though he's not my fav in the hero category, I do enjoy this show, and will try to keep up with the story line. I'm sure Sheldon would be proud of me. I feel like Nora (Jr) was written to be like 17 but they cast somebody in their mid 30s. It's so weird that they cast somebody older than both Grant Gustin and Candice Patton and had her act like a teenager. It makes all of their interactions so strange. I have nothing against Jessica Parker Kennedy but they needed to write a more age appropriate character for her. I mean, having a time travelling daughter show up who is older than the Flash and more experienced than him could have been a really fun dynamic,

How does that confuse pipo. My concern would have been how did the spark come from in season 1 when Iris touched Barry when he was in comma? I thought that could be because she comes from the 30th century from the comics and could be developed in season 8.

In the Comics Barry is the speed force so it is not that far off
The day barry had obtained his powers is the day the speed force was created. Barry is technically the father of the speed force. Its a comic accurate scenario. The show ruined it by saying it was made by barry and Iris love. It wasn't at all made from that. The speed force is the representation of reality in motion.

Exacly! Remember in season 2 how Barry had to go back in time to get faster to beat Zoom while risking the timeline to change. Now its just “we’ll give you a boost”. They shove more random things into the plot that are too convenient which sticks out annoyingly well. The writers really wanted to go home early i guess.

Technically the speed force wasn't evil, just wanted the others dead but barry didn't let her so she was pretty much forced to do certain things.
Can't say I love this show, cause I miss a lot of the episodes.

When I was growing up, my favorite superhero was Captain America, because one of the powers he possessed was, he was fast, plus the whole patriotic theme.
A memory that sticks in my head, is a day in second grade, when I drew a picture, full color, of my favorite superhero in a race with the Flash &
Quick Silver.
In my version, Cap was at the lead, artistic license you might say, my picture, my vision.
Anyways, a fellow classmate, named Steve, talked me into selling him the picture for a dollar, after offering me .50¢.
Reluctantly I sold it, but regretted it ever since.
All through school, my whole focus in Athletics was trying to be the fastest runner. Even entering a school sponsored Olympics in the Fifth grade, that brought none other than, Mr. Olympia himself, Arnold Swarsennager, as an official.
When I got to High School, I'd spent my free gym time running the track.
Even getting to my next class late, because I didn't stop until I wore myself out.
So I really like the concept of this character, and the acting isn't half bad, Grant Gustin is a believable Flash.
Plus, he ain't hard to look at either.
Even though he's not my fav in the hero category, I do enjoy this show, and will try to keep up with the story line.
I'm sure Sheldon would be proud of me.

I feel like Nora (Jr) was written to be like 17 but they cast somebody in their mid 30s. It's so weird that they cast somebody older than both Grant Gustin and Candice Patton and had her act like a teenager. It makes all of their interactions so strange. I have nothing against Jessica Parker Kennedy but they needed to write a more age appropriate character for her. I mean, having a time travelling daughter show up who is older than the Flash and more experienced than him could have been a really fun dynamic,

It just happened Iris was there and no one of brilliant scientists had a solution and the city was in trouble. So she had be used as a weapon to save the day until solution was got. How does that confuse pipo. My concern would have been how did the spark come from in season 1 when Iris touched Barry when he was in comma?
I thought that could be because she comes from the 30th century from the comics and could be developed in season 8.
