It might, the scope will do all sorts of things that I simply haven't played with (though I do have a vague memory reading something about it's storage capabilities). Unfortunately the software for the desktop is not so competent, and seems pretty much limited to enabling channels and setting the timebase and the v/div. But that is OK, bumping up a couple of orders of magnitude on the sig gen is just a button press away :), and I wouldn't want to come across as professional! One day, maybe, I'll figure it out. If you know of any decent desktop software that supports Hantek 4000 series scopes, I'd be interested.
All good fun! Do you not have a "rolling timebase" mode on the scope for when you want to plot those slower-moving signals?
