Join me on a journey to explore the hidden beauty of Gili Meno in low season. We sample local Indonesian food, do a quick room tour of our budget accommodation, check out the paradise beaches, and end on a pretty nice sunset.

Hi, no problem, although I can't remember/find the name of the little coconut spot, sorry! It's just past the Irish Bar, there are a few right on the beach close by.
The restaurant I had lunch at is called Mama Melani. The accommodation we stayed at is called the Meno Suites. The sunset corn spot is called Dianes (they are also good for cheap local/western food) Let me know if you have any questions or need any recommendations. Cheers!
Gili meno is totally destroyed and no one's showing it on social channels.
I didn't have anything to compare it to having never been before. I definitely preferred it to Gili Air. When you say destroyed do you mean by Covid or over development etc? Cheers
@yanoftheworld I meant "abandoned". All the Gili islands but Meno was sort of the saddest one because is the least taken care of when considering the 3 (at least when I visited), and a walk around the island will show pretty "dead" areas.
I meant to say that no one's showing what it actually is on social channels. They show the pretty only, just like the pretty side of Bali but not the mess it can be 😅
Yeah it definitely had a bit of an abandoned feel. It’s a shame because it’s a beautiful spot. Hopefully it recovers soon. Feels like a lot of luxury development, hopefully it’s doesn’t become too overdeveloped or expensive. Cheers
