Rusty Trike Man, I've been ridin' trikes for about 15 years and this year for my 70th birthday I got myself a folding tadpole trike that fits in the back of my car. Now my mission is to travel the countryside and ride all of the easy scenic multi-use trails. They're all over the place!
Hi Rusty, My husband just ordered my a Liberty Trike in Teal thanks to you, for my birthday!! We are from North Pole, AK full timing RV living since April! I did drop your name when we ordered! Thank you!
@@rusty78609 Another one? Wow! That be great to get around the farm for seniors if walking to the tea room/library or the general store was too far for them, or they want to carry groceries back. Bring garden produce up from their garden or some pretty flowers.
I am same age as you. Just recently bought a recumbent trike. Gives one a new lease on cycling. You need to get good quality forward and rear day time lights. Gives you peace of mind.
Soooooo happy for you Rusty!! Enjoy and be SAFE! At 74 you are still high on life! Many uses for the trike. Explore, explore! It looks perfect for ya!!! Happy Happy Happy! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
i love a guy who measures the size of a bicycle basket by the amount of beer it can hold. P.S. Rusty i showed my coworker your basket load. he heard you say it was a days supply. his response was "if thats a days supply he needs a liver not a tricycle".
My goodness, first sight is Your trike with the basket full of beer, then burn rubber marks on Your concrete pad where you'ld been hot doggin it !!! Best wishes and hope you have lots of fun with your trike.
Plenty of fuel for you too, you need to secure your important load better, i am over eighty and build them, just built a trike today 24 inch wheels with electric mid-drive motor. You’re right 50% of riders do have a problem getting used to riding a trike and some give up. That is very neat little bit of kit, I wonder how a 6 feet 6 inches 18 stone guy would get on with it
Saw one of these in a local store; rider was doing her shopping with it - didn't see she was having any problem navigating thru store . Seems a Healthier alternative to an all electric mobility scooter...
At the age of 52, I purchased a one-speed folding e-bike. Six years later, I'm selling mine for an upgraded model. Never again do I want to be 10 miles from home when the battery dies, or a tire goes flat. This is especially important with a one-speed bike cycling the foothills of So. California. I prefer a unit with standard size fat tires, multiple speed settings, a 750 hub motor, disc brakes, and shock absorbers. Fat tires handle ground surfaces better. I miss riding bike trails and sporting "Grandma power." 👊bump
Congrats on your new ride. It should give you lots of pleasure. You mentioned the temperature, the lithium battery goes flat at about 32 degrees F. I learned that using digital cameras in gliders flying at higher altitudes.
Glad your are enjoying your new trike...my husband and I have electric bikes and it's like having bionic legs. ...ride like we are kids again, effortlessly. We are in our early 60's. Just be careful raising the seat stem too high...if the one that came with it isn't tall enough for you, you may be able to purchase a longer one to accommodate your height....happy travels on your new toy!
i have almost the same bike but with 1500w 48v motor...on a 20 inch wheel... my god the torque is insane... not to mention that it accelerates to 50 kmh in 3-4seconds=)
I have a 24" manual bike , 21 speed bicycle that I ride only in the one gear. I either coast or beat making a 2 mile trip to the grocery store in about 20 minutes . So yes , a single speed for me is quite satisfying I would like to see a this model driven in to a store to see if it can be used as a handicap mobility schooter. Probably to long I would think it might be able to go in a self service check out line not so much a narrower non self service line
From Pete = drivin' videos are a'gonna change.... Next up - Go Pro - then drone shots following the triken' wonder wandering & meandering the local sights.... Have funnnnn Rusty....
A nearly new Casita, this guy is wealthy. I am curious about the concrete-foundation carport and patio, it would cost a few bucks and has to be zone approved. Anyway, that load is maxed out. How to add more capacity? A backpack. One problem with a front drive is it is not where the weight is and can slip anywhere traction is weak. They out to off a wide-tire version. I have contacted Liberty in PA and they say shipping is two months from purchase today. The seat sits rather high but overall it looks good.
Bought an ebike 2 years ago and love it. But please get a helmet. I bought one and was super happy I had it on when I crashed. I had bruises but no head wounds. It's worth the investment.
Hi Rusty. Congrats on the new wheels! Some rainy day would you please consider putting together a list of your previous boondocking/camping locations by state. Definitely would be of help to travelin' RVers. Thanks, Ken.
Rusty, congratulations 🎊 on your trike. Looks like a lot of fun. Just make sure you hide/chain it to a big tree 🌳. If I recall you were burglarized a while back!! Remember?
When I was a kid I had an adult tricycle, I let my friend ride it and he Had the same problem of not being able to turn because on a bicycle you have to lean when you turn, and a tricycle won’t allow you to lean. He crashed it right into a hedge of bushes.
Trike Man , I can see a purple jump suit with "TRIKE MAN" on the back , a pair of white patent leather knee high zip up boots and a flamed bright yellow heavy metal flaked helment !!!! Don't forget the BOOM BOX in the basket............. GO TRIKE MAN!!!!
That link, as you may know, does not take you to the Liberty Electric trike. Just to Amazon.Nor does it do anything when I input it into the Amazon search bar??
Sweet Ride Rusty Trike Man! I think Bolton's has been very busy lately, but your trike will get there soon... I saw a white trike (probably yours) on Bolton's last video.
Life is a circle. You start out with a tricycle in early years. then you advance to a bicycle. Then a car and then back to a tricycle.
I got that muppet saying stuck in my mind. You come into the world bald and toorhless, and go out that way too, if yer lucky.
Kinda like you start out in diapers, then under shorts, then back in diapers.
I started with a bicycle, I'm 22 now I have a tricycle because I think they're cute, never had a car.

I am super happy for you. I love the way you set your mind to something and then do it.
Safe travels on the trike. Like it.
So cute! Love how it matches the truck and camper. I'm saving for one now 🚲
Get you one of those flagpoles that attaches to the basket, and an orange safety flag, and a small Texas flag. For visibility and safety. Cool trike.
got it
Your trike looks really nice. I hope that it gives you a lot of enjoyment.
Congratulations. Many fun trips coming up. 👍

good point
That’s a nice bike!! I may look into it for myself. If you have stores nearby you’ll save on gas, and get your exercise in.
My goodness, first sight is Your trike with the basket full of beer, then burn rubber marks on Your concrete pad where you'ld been hot doggin it !!! Best wishes and hope you have lots of fun with your trike.

Yes you can!
Rusty, congratulations 🎊 on your trike. Looks like a lot of fun. Just make sure you hide/chain it to a big tree 🌳. If I recall you were burglarized a while back!! Remember?
Whilst in Texas one must wear chaps. Nothing else, just chaps!
Love the cargo!
Ethel Perry in the darkest part of the night!
Hey Rusty,
Great video ! I’m considering this bike and I’m wondering how tippy it is on uneven ground ?
Hi Trike Man, I hope you post a video of you riding your trike, or someone else riding it so you can shoot the video. I'd like see how it rides.
