Ever since the first year passed for Overwatch, I wanted to see if Blizzard could change the intro of the opening, but keeping Winston’s motivational lines in game. This pretty much filled that gap and made Overwatch feel like it’s more than just a game and as a self-story creator, this made me smile, a smile that I needed for the hardship I’m dealing with.
"The story so far" -> Is literally the exact same background story used to justify the events of the 1st game. They're pretty much admitting the story didn't move forward in the SLIGHTEST during these 3 years.
Overwatch was literally a PvP game which at the start of it all Jeff said "This game has no progression of story" Yes I agree that this game should have been a thing years ago but the original Overwatch is still in its right.
But we do have a LOT of lore. People should be complaining about Blizzard not giving us more answers, we still need more answers of the past, over all of some heroes with unfinish stories. But people are complaining about this... god.

I would like to point out a really neat detail; at 1:59 the music matches with the appearance of Balderich's armor in the original Eichenwalde trailer.
It feels so nice to visit this video every once in a while and get emotional. I love Overwatch so much, and I'm really hoping for an upcoming series soon!

@@FabschOblivion669 Yes. Anything multiplayer related like Maps, Modes, and Heroes will come to OW1. If you want the Story and PVE missions, thats OW2. OW1 items will also crossover to OW2 so you keep all your skins and stuff.
@@FabschOblivion669 from my understanding, on a technical scale they couldn't make proper PVE missions in OW1. Most of those missions were very basic. Im no expert in any of this so it might have been possible to make the upgrades within OW1, but its probably easier for them to make and market it as a new game
