I threw only one single 9 Darter in Tournament. And I was drunk as fuck. I never check out with 9 darts until today. But I will never forget that unbelievable moment. I was so shocked, I thought to myself that someone stopped time. I think I stand for 1 minute paralysed and look at the last dart in D 12 . My friends screaming, and my opponent tap my shoulder. Then I realized what happened. But I lose the match 7-4 .
I think the PDC should bring back the 9 dart finish bonus but only for paths that have not been done before like 5xT19, 3xT20, D18 (maybe MVG might try that path).

I think some players might as well try going 3×18+3×18+2×18 from the 144. As for the 150, 153 and 156 I think it's only a matter of time. Unfortunately, the majority of the players check out with the doubles 16, 20 and 12. If you train checking out in 18 more, it will be a lot easier. Half of these tries can be finished with 36. And doubles are harder to score than trebles. And that's why 18 is my favorite double and I even prefer it before 16 and 10.
spd7693 I think Rob Cross is the most likely to hit a 144 using the 18s only... He can surely produce a perfect leg, as you said it's probably just a matter of time...
Fran Hecimovic Also the doubles are longer, but tighter. Try fitting 3 darts in a double. Especially the Bull. I can't fit even two in there. Three fit in just barely.
Mate, the doubles are at least 2 times longer than trebles, the width(not sure how you spell it) is the same... Bull is the smallest section of the dartboard... If you threw the same amount of darts at a double and the treble it would have been way easier for you to hit 3 in the double rather than 3 in the treble
A soft tip player is the best bet of seeing 167 167 167 as they love the bull, and if they were in the grand prix it would be more likely. But it would most likely end up 167 177 157

If someone hit 5xT20 and one bulls eye as a cover that would leave 151, which isn't mentioned on the list at 4:10 ;) You could leave 154, 157 and 160 in a similar manor.
