Will Faded Paint Shine Again on this Wheel Horse 520-H

Can a guy put a spit shine on this top of the line tractor featuring the 20hp Onan engine or is it too disrepspectful? From 1988-1997 Toro, under the Wheel Horse name produced the 520-H, one of the greatest garden tractors of its time and still today.

That wheel horse 520-8 is a very rare model. They only made over 200 of those with a manual transmission
