My mother is kannadiga. I saw this movie in 1994, I didn't get any meaning. Tune of this song is still alive in my heart. After 25 years I am listening to this song....
See am proud to be kannadiga.....Not only my language is simple & marveles but look at the feeling in the song no words to put forward....only u could feel it...thats what all about kannadiga's not only they are simple but their feelings are also genuine and impackable....Am Great Full to Rajan Nagendra Sir and SPB sir intern the Lyricist who is the real son of kannada or kannadiga my salute to him since he brought up the core beauty of my language in to celluloid.......Tune,Lyrics,Feeling are simply superb as like as like my mother land Kar nataka,this is the power of my nativity .....be always proud to be as kannadiga....

Simply superb...no words to describe the bliss I derive from these yesteryear songs. As few have already mentioned, just takes me back to the 70s...we used to hear these songs on our way to the school...those days almost all the houses used to be tuned to the radios at this time....golden time.
