You probably won’t read this but What I took from it is that they want to be loyal to the girl kind of like a dog is loyal to its person. They use it as a metaphor. Dogs only see in black and white (well shades of grey supposedly) but he says she shines in blue and red which those two colors make purple (Purple being love) so in his b&w world he sees her 💜 He puts off this tough front at times but with her he becomes sweet like a puppy and he’s not sure what happening to him lol. Hence the frisbee and taking walks reference. But hey I mean you can play frisbee with people and dogs lol. Then he says he feels like he went from a cat to a Jindo Dog. They’re known for their fierce loyalty and brave nature. He wants to be that for her. Then he references the “Rainbow Bridge” he says he wants to play forever until they cross the bridge. Which if you don’t know the Rainbow Bridge poem it’s basically about when pets pass away they cross this bridge to a place where they can play happily until their owner crosses over and they can meet again💜 This song is really fucking good. It’s fun/silly and actually has a cute message. **i say he but you know I mean they lol** anywhoo sorry for this long ass post 😂 🐶💜

The reason I like this song is that I relate to it so much. The way I interpreted it is that this girl, for lack of better words, IS A STRAIGHT BADDIE!! He went from "playing the butler game" (aka being a nice, cautious gentleman) to being a puppy. Instead of being gentle waiting for her to make a move, he said, imma be honest. I dont wanna be just friends, I'm here to STAY, clear space for me. You can keep me around all day everyday WE CAN PLAY. And assuming that she's the cat...well..enough said.

Tbh, I've always seen the song as playful and innocent. To me, the lyrics are talking about wanting to just be by someone's side like a pet typically is. Whether that's plaing simple games like frisbee or even just taking a walk. The pet imagery is just a cute way to convey that message.

i actually did not see it the way you saw it, and i'm a scorpio too LOL. but everyone's views are different. i thought this was so innocent and pure. and i've learned that in korean culture, calling someone a puppy is a term for endearment so it makes sense. they were simply comparing acts of being a dog to wanting to be with someone they like as a metaphor. for example, dogs are loyal and will love you unconditionally, will want to be with you 24/hrs a day, will want to protect you, will want to play (or in human language; go on dates, having fun together, etc), vision is black and white (dogs) and alot of other things you'll notice. i'm sure there's also alot of other meanings to it as koreans have a great history of writing deep lyrics. but that's my take as a fellow scorpio hehe :)
