@@scottfletcherr1457 yea im pre sure these stats are alright for an all rounder. Ur batsmen like khawaja avg 44. Nathan lyon averages 30 with the ball. Not sure where ur coming from. U also cant "take this score out", the fact remains he has done this and thats why he is picked for the team because he does things like this.
I remember watching this match live and it seemed to me as though once Mitch Marsh got to the crease and started playing an attacking style that Cam started moving forward to change the bowlers length and be more attacking. Im guessing they chatted about being aggressive at some point as Green changed gear suddenly. He was in his shell before Marsh got to the crease, which I think is his biggest problem in test cricket, but he seemed to gain confidence seeing Mitch attack the bowlers.
He only really started doing it in this series to combat Henry. He was moving the ball around all over the place and Green coming down the wicket was the only one of our batsmen that could really combat him. Its a shame he isn’t fit for the BGT cause it would be interesting to see if that method worked against Bumrah
Thanks for this. Great ball by ball highlights of seeing a batsmen build an innings instead of just boundaries
These are the only runs he has ever got though. Takethis score out and he scrapes a 30 average at test level. Averages 35 with the ball as well.

That Marsh innings is probably his best. He won us the game by giving Green time at the crease and taking all the pressure of him.
thanks for the upload, really interesting , lots of play and misses, leaving balls outside off, but no chances!
Need green in the tests vs India 😢

What a fucking shot that is
dont fucking swear ni
i remember he played one similar shot in CWC23 vs England
On his day there are not many more batsman in the world more dangerous than Cam Green
He was on 91 when Aus lost their 9th wicket..
Stokes last wicket partnership with Leach was far superior, he is by far the better all rounder.

Only noticed watching this that he has a habit of walking forwards to meet the ball. Really interesting
he's doing that to negate the swing
