@JoanneRachel-u4n Misery is still probably my #1 fav... but I also love Fire Starter, Carrie, Needful Things, It and The Shining as well 🤗 Looking forward to when I can finally read the Holly books 🥰
Hi Kris 🙂 this was so awesome! I loved your thoughts on Stephen King and you always motivated me to read more on his books. I don’t have a favorite but the book Holly was very good.
Hi Roscoe! This was a really great video Kris. I enjoyed seeing your journey with King, and I find it so interesting that he has many overlapping ideas between some of his books.
Hi. I love Cell, I read it when it was released. I think because mobile (cell) phones were new it really stuck with me. I have just discovered your channel and love you are on a Stephen King journey. 📚
@@anges_book_chatter It's so funny that cellphones were so new when this came out... but no matter how much things have changed, other things are still the same 🤗
Oh boy, animal violence is my biggest trigger too 😢 You are so awesome for getting this far in your journey! I've always wanted to read Dreamcatcher, and nothing negative anyone says will take it off my tbr 😂 and I actually do have an unpopular book that I read during a rough time that everyone hates but I love...Harry Potter and the Cursed Child hahaha 😅😅😅
Good point… multiple books based on evil cars seems excessive. I really, really need to get to the Dark Tower. I have the first two. I just need to put it on the schedule, I guess 😜 Did I already mention I started Salem’s Lot?
@@BookBlather The Dark Tower is definitely a commitment! Especially the later books in the series 😅 Hope you enjoy Salem's Lot... it's not my favorite, but I do enjoy that one and think it's a classic 🤗
It’s interesting how he kind of has resurrected some of his stories in other works. I wonder if it is just how his brain works? Or is he throwing books out too quickly?
❤❤❤❤ yes I do have favourites fairytale Salam lot fire starter holly misery Carrie needful things
It the shining

Do you have any favorite Stephen King books from the early 2000s? Let me know your favorites below! 🤗

@badrad9226 I still haven't read any of the Holly books 😩 But I'll get there some day 🤗

@BookishChas yeah I honestly didn't even realize that that was a common theme... until I was going back through all the books for this video 😅

@TheSecretofNym I think every reader has at least 1 book like that lol... something that everyone else hates that you love 🤗

Interesting how he returned to his previous concepts in this decade. 🤔
@@BookBuds I really wonder if it was intentional... or if it was something that just happened 🤔

@kellireadsalot Both are great questions!!! Some day, if I ever finish his books I'd love to go back and do some more research into his actual life 🤗
