I genuinely think Imperial FE and other female rosters have a chance to compete in the T1 scene. Back in the day we had women like Juliano, Emuhleet and Mimi that dominated their divisions. Emuhleet is a 5 time womens world champion but still has to work as a nurse to pay bills.....
I am trying to understand, cs is no weightlifting so there shouldn´t be limits in ceiling between boys and girls. The thing is simply, the girls need to have more practice, since I do believe that girls don´t grind that much, which is imo the biggest difference.
There is no conspiracy regarding Imperial Female. If they're trash and don't deserve their placing, they'll just get shit in in their games. Though it looks like they're pretty good.
I'd love to see more women team's, and even mixed teams. This isn't a physical sport, this is esports, where everyone is equal. I stand by that. All i see are positives from bringing more women teams to T1.
Going forward female only tournys won't give any points/rankings (this is what people including myself have issues with so why not farm T2-T3 like every other team) so the following things can happen. Imperial FE will bomb out of every T1 event they are invited to They will do moderately well so they will be invited to T2 events and below They do well and stay within the rankings to be invited to T1 events We will have to wait till Kato where they can show off more but if they get G2, Spirit ect in the groups they are done for.
I support Imperial fe 100%, but it does not appear they qualified by playing against the same caliber of teams as the rest from this tournament. That said, they played super badass CS and are obviously quite good and possibly a future T1 team. Whether or not they destroyed Navi or got destroyed themselves, they must necessarily qualify by facing the same caliber as all other teams, and not get a free pass from beating t3 and t4 teams.
I agree. They got a free ride. I'm not downplaying that they are a good team, but they're the only ones who got to verse a full roster of low tier teams for their placements. It was a good showing and I'd say they're at least tier 2, but let's not act like they didn't get there by doing the equivalent of a division 2 football team versing only division 4 teams while everyone else has to verse division 2. And honestly, good for them. Take the free ride, I would too. However if this becomes a common occurrence then it becomes a problem. As a one-off however, it was a good opportunity to show that women can compete if afforded the opportunity, but in future they need to go through the proper procedure.
I get the sentiment, but you also have to consider that in order to "qualified by playing against the same caliber of teams" they need opportunities to do that. As far as I understand, women CS was mostly a separate entity, and with this bounty format already being designed around having smaller/lower rated teams compete against the best, it is the perfect opportunity to bridge that divide, and start to do what you apparently are asking for: ranking female teams in the same system as the male teams. And I think this match showed that you can do that, that female players can hang with the best.
@@juicemilk6071 did they play men’s teams? Did any of the women teams they beat play the men’s teams? No they didn’t. The face that you don’t see there is a problem with this is crazy.
that's funny to me... to fight for a title in mma x fighter needs to beat bunch of same ranked fighters, 10 vs 11, if he wins he gets to fight a looser of a fight between 6-9, and if he wins he gets a chance into a top 5. Then in top 5 comes a little bit of politics because it's so stacked and most guys already fought each other but can't loose to the gatekeeprs(6-12) but somehow you can find a new contender for the title when nr 1 in the rankings fights the Champion with a chance to dethrone him. With your logic it is okay if jessica beat karen and get's boosted into the top 10 just like that even tho a guy from top50 needed to climb his way up ?
@@wb201019 then let them play with the men players... what u on about? their team looks promising if they fail well its on them they're just gonna be another failed female esport team
my only issue with a female only roster is the fact that an entire female roster has to exist and succeed before organizations start considering individual females as potential players for their rosters. Mixed rosters should already be a thing. Also knowing the CS community these women are going to be facing a very uphill battle when it comes to harassment. I hope they have a Will stronger than steel and can push through all the harassment to better pave the way for future female players
I guess it's needed to show the appeal or prove something, but I think putting together all-female rosters is a bad idea. Not because they are bad players, but that it's an all or nothing gamble. Either you do amazing and "prove women can compete" or you fail and get relegated off to the sidelines for a while. I think the best option would be to integrate the female players into teams where their strengths are suited rahter than make a team for the sake of it being all female. Focus on bringing the strong female players out on an individual basis in the same or greater number rather than a single unit.
Well that's where it is hopefully going and the reason for having all female teams to begin with. Right now teams either due to prejudice or lack of confidence wont pick up any female players, hopefully an all female team can show these orgs their skill and these females exactly like you said slowly get integrated into existing rosters w males in them.
The thing is that they have their own tournaments and orgs in women's CS. It's a bit of a double edged sword. For a lot of women playing CS competitively, it's way safer to just go to an all women roster and have a career that PAYS YOU MONEY. But I'll hope in the future some of the best female players will move to mixed rosters (This already happened a few years ago in Rocket league with a player named Karma who was legit the best player in her team and they were like top 8 in NA). It will otherwise create this situation where women in CS will never be good enough and kinda stuck in women's CS. Unless some crazy all female roster will someday arrive.
Personaly i think that the rule of only one lineup for each team getting to qualify for thease events kinda is a shot in the foot. Rule could be valid only for teams that dont get a "valve seal of diversity". Just as a confirmation that a team is part of a fem/others lineups
Team Siren was pathetic, these girls here however actually seem to show some skill. Keep in mind I only saw clips from this video but Siren was like hard stuck gold that somehow managed to be at LCS.
@@MerrStudio these girls are really really bad mechanically speaking, if they win rounds is because they do a lot of work and research on demos and anti-strat , but their aim isn't even on 2014 ldlc apEX level.
its really hard to have a universally "fair" ranking environment in a competitive environment thats dominated by one sex. to thrive in a competitive environment you need chances to get experience through tournaments and playing strong or stronger opponents and adapting to situations they put you in. so them getting a chance in a bounty hunt tournament, i'm all for it. Edit: just realizing im stating exactly what Zaaz said, before watching that part. just goes to show she knows her stuff and wants to seize the opportunity fully.
Supporting female teams is nice and all but we mustn't forget that at the moment the game is unplayable for non pro audiences without services such as Faceit, which don't protect you from the shit ton of bugs that the game is still plagued with. I am happy if more girls can take part in the scene but a lot of people will simply stop following the game if everything inside the game makes them want to quit playing it. Don't let this (very good) initiative deter you from the fact that Valve still don't give a shit about the state of the game.
Isn't there a scrim system for pro teams to practice against one another? Or is that like, giving away trade secrets? Seems like people could give new female teams a bit of a trial by fire of standard pro tactics. Might even make good content.

Imperial FE also managed to qualify to IEM Katowice while male Imperial did'nt
I’m new in CS2 esport. Where I can learn story about it and streaming from tournaments? Thanks ❤
why didnt mention pain with davideus stomping tier 1 teams
Xantares doing good ONLINE, what a surprise
Yo theScore esports just to clarify. Malbs took over from niko where heavygod took over malbs roles
I am trying to understand, cs is no weightlifting so there shouldn´t be limits in ceiling between boys and girls. The thing is simply, the girls need to have more practice, since I do believe that girls don´t grind that much, which is imo the biggest difference.
0:43 Ok Kat, I see you
There is no conspiracy regarding Imperial Female. If they're trash and don't deserve their placing, they'll just get shit in in their games.
Though it looks like they're pretty good.
Enternal Fire match was fire !
this is how it should be, they deserved that spot and showed they were at a close level. hope they improve and shock the cs world
Listen we all remember team siren and this other league team from Russia.
I'd love to see more women team's, and even mixed teams. This isn't a physical sport, this is esports, where everyone is equal. I stand by that. All i see are positives from bringing more women teams to T1.
Did they make the qualifiers playing against female teams only?
Little too late, millions have quit CS2. It’s just a slot machine simulator
Thanks to Imperial Fe, we got ana in CS2!
As a certified hater, the female squad did very well.
There's no way you state "Rostermania was crazy" and the first thing you proceed with is "Yekindar was benched". Like, WHAT?
i hope they add bo5 for finals
Zaaz put it right. They gotta practice against the boys.
PS: É Brasil porra!!!
This Format is better than VCT game changers and the Main VCT. Just Saying.
Going forward female only tournys won't give any points/rankings (this is what people including myself have issues with so why not farm T2-T3 like every other team) so the following things can happen.
Imperial FE will bomb out of every T1 event they are invited to
They will do moderately well so they will be invited to T2 events and below
They do well and stay within the rankings to be invited to T1 events
We will have to wait till Kato where they can show off more but if they get G2, Spirit ect in the groups they are done for.
And I think this match showed that you can do that, that female players can hang with the best.
you didnt even mention what's different about the game?
I think Imperial FE would`ve been capable of winning if they played some of the lower teams and not Na`Vi
i don't see any issue with them participating as long as they participating just like the male team
But they have an easier way to qualify. Seems fair huh? The male teams have to play actual competition
@@wb201019 they dominated female cs how is that not fair?
Unless some crazy all female roster will someday arrive.
its coming. it will be mixed league now. its fun. just like chess
I want IMP FE to reach the Spodek
why would you show imperials almost throwing against a half buy as their highlight ?
Because that was the highlight
it is about time we have great pro womans in the scene at 1st level!!!
Personaly i think that the rule of only one lineup for each team getting to qualify for thease events kinda is a shot in the foot. Rule could be valid only for teams that dont get a "valve seal of diversity". Just as a confirmation that a team is part of a fem/others lineups
It's VaeVictis all over again
EF humbled vitality
Mixed teams should be..
A normal thing by now???
It's weird why it isn't.
This is a sport that is genderless. That showing was impressive.
Just waiting for one of them to get exposed for cheating 💀💀
"A brand new anticheat!" oh wait..
how did nobody see, that "and they cleaned up at the hltv awards" may be bad phrasing? xD
I thought twistzz left liquid again?
Do you people even pay attention to the scene and HLTV or just wait for this mid channel to upload videos about it
Heavygod is malbs replacement
Imperial FE reminds me of League of Legends ' Team Siren
not nearly as bad as them though lmao
Team Siren was pathetic, these girls here however actually seem to show some skill. Keep in mind I only saw clips from this video but Siren was like hard stuck gold that somehow managed to be at LCS.
@@MerrStudio
these girls are really really bad mechanically speaking, if they win rounds is because they do a lot of work and research on demos and anti-strat , but their aim isn't even on 2014 ldlc apEX level.
@@juanme555oh look its you again with another comment i wonder what the common denominator of your hate is?

You are making an appeal to the crowd, you are not engaging with the argument because you know you cant possibly.
S1mple : Missing
The editing in this video is on point
Disappointed by how they got ranked but they still played insanely good
its really hard to have a universally "fair" ranking environment in a competitive environment thats dominated by one sex.
to thrive in a competitive environment you need chances to get experience through tournaments and playing strong or stronger opponents and adapting to situations they put you in. so them getting a chance in a bounty hunt tournament, i'm all for it.
Edit: just realizing im stating exactly what Zaaz said, before watching that part. just goes to show she knows her stuff and wants to seize the opportunity fully.
I hope is not another vivitus moment
I love bloodmoney
Lets go i want see more female players in CS.. This make me miss mimi and Petra in CS :(
It's Gabe the junior 😆😆
Well thats a clickbait title
