Maybe she has a Jamaican grandparent and naming kids after the island is her family's way to stay connected lmao, because no one has the accent and I can't find ANY interviews confirming anything. S. S. Pretty much a fancy way of saying "exclusive" vs when most choreographers have 1,000s of "generic" workshops with any and everybody.
