I work for a company that packs pallets of returned or broken items like this one and I used to work for Amazon. That DeWalt shop vac wasn't part of that box as it has to be TIGHTLY shrink wrapped as part of the Gleason box. Either it was "added" to make the box look more appealing as you unwrapped it or accidentally fell off another pallet.

Do the furniture cane trick in the frame of your broken mirror and do something artsy/crafty on it. Maybe sell it with your cane reconditioned furniture as a set.
The sheer amount of work and time that goes into sorting, reselling, and shipping things needs to be more accurately conveyed. When you consider that time is money, I think it seriously undercuts what may seem like massive profit to most people.

so flipping pallets is very profitable. its what my parents do for a living and i have worked for them a bit too. You can also buy store returns from pretty much everywhere. The biggest one is Costco. The only thing for those is you need a bay for semis to offload. but yea there is huge profit if you buy at ab 10 to 20 percent msrp.
You guys have inspired us, and low and behold, we have a pallet liquidation place right in our city, so no travel! Just bought our first pallet of Amazon mediums for $375. There's some good stuff, just don't know if it is good enough to make a profit! Was wondering if you guys started out more on local sells, like marketplace, before moving to ebay? We've got a few good size items, not great for shipping. Would appreciate any advice you might have! Unfortunately I've also found a few things I want to keep! I know I have to have some willpower! But I also figure, as long as I can recoup what I spent, the keepers are just a bonus!

Good pallette! I have that exact DeWalt shop vac and I use it all the time, it's fantastic!! The bag that fits on the side is wonderful because it holds all the attachments! I've looked it up in my area and I don't have the ability to get the in- person types of palettes you all get. All I could find here was the online ones and every one looks shady and I wouldn't buy those. I was bummed because I would love to do what you all are doing. You are so blessed to be able to have access to those, it's a great side hustle for sure!!

Yea I’ve seen that too. Sounds like you might have a good market for it! From my estimation the guy we buy them from pays around $350/pallet and sells them for $550

I can give you an example that happened last weekend. My SIL & I were closing up my sister’s home. SIL put the couch on marketplace to sell cheap that day only. We were rushing and someone asked for her phone # and though she wouldn’t typically do that - she’s an experienced marketplace seller - she gave it. Within the hour her bank card was being hit with suspicious purchases. She canceled it immediately but lesson learned. Many scammers on marketplace, with various scams. I only sell low cost items like home decor, so they don’t hit on me as much.
That is a great topic we will have to do a video on sometime. We have a ring video doorbell and never give our address until the person gives a time that they can come and is serious about buying. We also always do “porch pickup” so people pay via Venmo or leave money under the mat. Even still we’ve started listing more on eBay to avoid people coming to our house. Some people run this business out of a storage unit and meet people there

I'm not computer savvy to sell stuff online. And the hassle of yard sales by myself and/or flea markets is time basically wasted and only pennies on the dollar, as I let people talk me down, lol! Sales has never been my niche in life. I know, too much negativity in my situation.
Interesting review focusing on heat and cost . You skip over emissions though. This is a very simple combustion device its exhaust gas quality has zero regulation so if you use one you have to accept your undoing the expense you and other people have gone to improve air quality by having vehicles and heaters with much lower emissions. PS waste oil is a dirty fuel adding metals and more particulates to the bad emissions profile which is why combustion of waste oil is regulated to kit and flue systems that limit the affects in a local area.
A the airfryer/toaster oven is not random. That should sell quick. But with the shape of the box I would def make sure is still works. Oh boy....Bag-O-Dirt....lol.

We usually don’t because our Facebook listings are usually our larger items. Sometimes we will if we can’t sell something, though as it opens up the potential customer base. Our smaller stuff we usually list on eBay

What part of the country are you in? I think certain regions have more liquidation than others. Some people drive 3-4 hours to go to the place we go.
