Women had lead roles in tv shows way back when, Cold Case, loved it, Crossing Jordan, loved it, Ghost Whisper, loved it, Medium, didn't watch that one, but female lead, The Closer, and Major Crimes, loved them, China Beach, really loved that one, Alice, loved it, and on and on and on so what are they bitching about. Those ladies were not bitching about their jobs back then, they were just happy they had one, and they were not trying to compete with the men. There are shows still on with female leads so what's the problem. Men get paid more???? I'm sorry but in my opinion, men are better actors than women, and I'm a woman. Some of the women in their roles are trying too hard to show they are better than men and it shows, buts it's not working, especially a couple of the new shows coming on this fall, it comes across too fake. I'm sure there are many many people that disagree with this but that's ok I have no problem with it, different opinions are good.Ive lived a long time and I've seen good and bad actors and there are also really bad male actors. The blacks have been complaining for years about not getting roles, but if I remember correctly, the TVSHOW "Cold Case was mostly about the blacks, for years. I see some of those same actors every once in a while on modern day shows. So there's been bitching going on about something for years, it never stops. The ladies and their shows I mentioned above didn't make near the amount of money that the women make now. So be thankful you have a job, and get paid for it. As for me I'd rather have a John Wayne hero.
Caitriona Balfe is the reason why I got so hooked with this show. She's so gorgeous, talented, and really smart! It's amazing how she portrayed her character. She's not just a pretty girl. She's beautiful inside and out. So much respect for this woman! 💪💪💪❤️❤️❤️

Just started watching this due to lockdown. Damn, I never thought I’d be hooked. Binged watched season 1-5 in 5 days. Now waiting on episode 9 season 5. I can’t seem to get enough of the characters Claire and Jamie. The actors Cait and Sam have awesome chemistry...
The earnest way Sam says he would die for her at 20:22! And her honest response was to make a heart. They have such a unique bond though she married another. Cait once said they act like they are married because they act AS married every day. How can they not? They know each other deeply, they share intimacy and are comfortable together in that way. And yet - this close relationship stays within the bonds of friendship. Cait adores her husband and son. She has the best of both worlds!

In my matric years, 50 years ago we where doing the book "Romeo and Juliet". which was said the most beautiful "love story" ever. I'm at season 4 ep 8, Outlander is by far the most beautiful, challenging and nerve racking "Love story" These 2 actors are amazing from the moment they met one another. I love this show.
I love watching videos of interviews with Sam & Claire and how they interact and love being together. I watch their facial expressions and the laughter & chemistry is so amazing & entertaining.

In episode 11 Devils Mark Season 1 vol. 2 there was the scene where Jamie saved her from the witch trial and they went into the woods and she told him the whole truth about how she came to be there. They spent the night there and actually did that, made love without actually making love, and I thought that was the most romantic scene I've ever seen, and they were completely covered. My favorite so far. Those are the kind of Romantic scenes I like. Not alot of naked bodies.

Sorry Tobias Menzies was not at interview, he is a brilliant actor in his dual roles yet does not get credit for his acting prowess. Can't wait for season 5

I have not read any of the Outlander Books yet but have seen the Series and have loved every minute of it. I love it because I can relate to certain parts of it. Claire felt something was missing in her life and she went back in time and found the love of her life. If we could all go back in time and change certain things we did and make it better. I love the writer of these Books you are Amazing Diana Gabaldon. The Directors, Producers, the Crew and the whole Cast who bring it all to Life. You have done a Magnificent Job. No one is talking about the "fan" that told Caitriona she was sorry for being disappointed at first in her being cast as Claire because of the way she looked and how she needed to eat a cheeseburger.... lol. Caitriona handled that unnecessary comment with pure grace. I can't believe some people have the audacity to make comments like that. She used to be a runway model, she's very tall and naturally skinny. If anyone made a comment about someone being over weight it wouldn't be acceptable. How is this type of comment any different? I was in utter shock when I heard that come from a "fans" mouth.
I completely agree with you and thank you for saying it. Nobody stopped to think about how those words about her body could mentally affect her? Imagine if she had an eating disorder… Most fans here are really hurtful and insensitive. I only watched Outlander in the beginning of Dec 2019 b’coz I purposely avoid watching ‘Series’ shows b’coz I get so addicted & would watch the whole series in one to 3 sittings! But a friend recommended it & convinced me to watch it so I did. Like I always do, I watched Series 1-4 in 6 days! I got very involved & hooked by the characters, the stories & their realistic performance! Although there were scenes that upset me very much like the flogging, tortures, rape, etc. of Jamie by Jack Randall. They felt real & convincing. The Actors were brilliant & I fell in love with Jamie & Claire. I also love the other characters. I’m now a BIG fan & can’t wait for Series 5. Thank you to Diana and the screen writers & to the crew & talented Actors for bringing this beautiful, magnificent, believable & incredible story to the small screen. The show needs to put a montage of the crew together that STARZ will allow extra time to show mid-season and again at the end of Season 5 and post on all social media. Seriously, they are unsung heroes and both the show and STARZ owe them a great moment in the spotlight of utmost respect and gratitude.
My wife and I watch this & it's really, really good...we had only found it around a month ago -& binge watched from beginning to the end of season 4 -- fantastic job recreating history (even if it's off here & there slightly) the wardrobe's, the acting & bringing it altogether~ over the top amazing & can't get enough.

I’d have liked more people to talk about this in the comments but they only talk about how perfect Sam is and how they hate everything Caitriona says or does.
first time in my life i see someone who understands that it's hurtful to say to skinny people to eat more! good for writing the comment! you are so right, thank you! i am almost 40yo and since childhood all i hear are those exactly words, just because i;m a skinny type. how would it feel if I approach every overweight person with: you are so fat, you should stop eating (?!!)
Fans like these with comments about Cat body are possibly why she quit modeling maybe but I agree. Unacceptable to say things like this. No one could get by with comment about weight!!! Glad to see them all together however and hear some of interview questions.

I only watched Outlander in the beginning of Dec 2019 b’coz I purposely avoid watching ‘Series’ shows b’coz I get so addicted & would watch the whole series in one to 3 sittings! But a friend recommended it & convinced me to watch it so I did. Like I always do, I watched Series 1-4 in 6 days! I got very involved & hooked by the characters, the stories & their realistic performance! Although there were scenes that upset me very much like the flogging, tortures, rape, etc. of Jamie by Jack Randall. They felt real & convincing. The Actors were brilliant & I fell in love with Jamie & Claire. I also love the other characters. I’m now a BIG fan & can’t wait for Series 5. Thank you to Diana and the screen writers & to the crew & talented Actors for bringing this beautiful, magnificent, believable & incredible story to the small screen. I could listen to Sam talk all day. His voice is soooo sexy!! Love, love this show to bits. Read the books years ago and to see it brought to life is AMAZING!

Lord John's actor's is...not what I was expecting. Lord John always is just so put together and noble feeling. Thats some good acting on his part to bring John to life.
My goodness! I can’t believe how much we loved your wonderful series. Both Caitlin’s and Sam were fantastic in their respective roles. It’s a series we loved so dearly that we most likely will watch again. It was just THAT FABULOUS! Well, at least I will while my husband watches endless games of Notre Dame (American) football.

The show needs to put a montage of the crew together that STARZ will allow extra time to show mid-season and again at the end of Season 5 and post on all social media. Seriously, they are unsung heroes and both the show and STARZ owe them a great moment in the spotlight of utmost respect and gratitude.

My wife and I watch this & it's really, really good...we had only found it around a month ago -& binge watched from beginning to the end of season 4 -- fantastic job recreating history (even if it's off here & there slightly) the wardrobe's, the acting & bringing it altogether~ over the top amazing & can't get enough.

Just had another surgery a week ago and watched the entire series. Oh. My. Goddd. I'm hooked. Everything about it is phenomenal - the acting, the content, the scenery. I was at 2019 NYCC and am KICKING MYSELF for missing this panel! Finished Season 4 last night and I'm sad it's over! I cannot wait until February! Best show ever!!!
