Let’s face it, many, many dies will fit in this machine. In fact, I have few very large dies, so this little genius machine works for almost all my dies (I’m doing mostly altered book junk journals, and most books just aren’t very large). One of the aspects I like the best is that it has one simple folder, not tons of plates to make “sandwiches”. Great video!
boy it did a terrific job on that detailed butterfly!!! I ave the tiny one and use it every time I craft...this bundle looks awesome...dont know why HSN cares if you know the price ahead of time, makes no sense to me!!! great video as always...
Vianney thank you for sharing this video with us. I am going to be so excited when it is available. I like their Diamond Press Dies , stamps ,etc. I am looking forward to this TSV! 👏👏👏💕
Thank you so much for the info! I think I commented yesterday saying I was trying to find the thicker plates for my Sizzix sidekick because I can't cut the thin dies and I don't feel like pulling out an electronic cutter. This will make things so much easier/
This would be perfect! I know what you mean about having to source the "thicker" plates for the Sidekick. I had to do the same months ago bc I didn't realize the plates it came with didn't cut thin metal dies. I got the plates, and have not used it!! LOL!
Thank you diamonds press for choosing Vianney to be one of your spoke personal she will test this die machine’s. I can’t wait until you come out with all the information we need I been waiting for this day,I was waiting because I need a die machine I see that it cutting so easy my choose are Anna Griffin , Gemini
Thanks for the FAQ's. Do you know how many sets they'll be releasing with the Marquise? Like embossing folders? That butterfly came out perfectly clean...great machine!
Thank you so much for all your videos. I really am super excited about this machine due to the simplicity of the folders. Plus I have (old-lol) hands that hurt a lot so I think this will be easy for me to use. Stay safe and healthy. Have a wonderful day.
Yess Mam!! It Did help Alot in helping me choose to buy on! Aarrg another one to be added to my Stash of dye cutting mashines. But EZier to take along 😊 Gracias TFS
I have the Mac Daddy Gemini and the Gemini Mini that I got with the giant card making compendium like you have. I also have the original small DP. This one seems like it has a pretty big opening compared to the Gemini Mini. Those are full sized embossing folders so that's pretty cool. Definitely a maybe leaning to yes for me.
This will be my go to for quick die cuts for sure. I don't have to think about a sandwich (like even the Gemini mini needs) and it's a great size for the cards I normally make!!
Hi Vianney, again, & TY for another video! I'm SO excited for this new Marquise & watched your first video just mins after you posted it -- LOL! Cannot wait for the 14th & hoping to get the Teal color. I have my eye on a few new DP items & hoping HSN learned their lesson last time & offers the $5 shipping on 14th!!! Question, where did you get the black binder w/pockets that you have your other Embossing Folders in? Thank you as always for your videos & making me smile :)
Since you have had your Diamond Press Machine for a while how many die cutting folders do you suggest that you buy for the machine for future use. Thank you so much for all of your videos❤️♥️❤️
I am still using the original folder I began with...so it's been over three months of daily use! I did start using a new one for larger full may type dies bc the paper was getting squished a bit with the wonky folder. I think a ten pack of the folders will last forever!
I wonder if you could open the 3D folder and open a blank folder and out paper on the side you want and run it through. It won’t be as 3D but I bet you’d still get the embossed pattern. I use an open blank folder and a piece of sturdy foam cut to the same size as the folder and die emboss with my original DP. It’s not fun foam it came as filler inside a package and is sturdier. However I did try fun foam with a piece of cardstock glued to it and that worked too. I’ve got all the Gemini’s and still use my little DP often and I will hopefully get a purple Marquise. Thanks for another great video.
Thanks for answering those questions in a separate video. That was good information. I think I like this one better than CC's. Also, I mentioned in a previous video...TH-cam has a comment selector for giveaways. I've seen several people use it. If appears to be way easier than random.org because you don't have to count and assign numbers to comments. It literally packs the comment for you. I hope this helps you save time.
I have been waiting for something like that on TH-cam! I will check that out. There was another site that would go to your video page, randomize the names, then pick one...but I never felt confident that all the names made it in!! LOL! TY!
Diamond Press is my new love! lol! I received my new Marquise machine, played with it and a layout! I have the videos in my channel. Have fun playing! :)
I know I will be getting one. I have been waiting along with everyone else. My main problem is what color do I really want. I think I like all of them. I did order the DP Window View stamp and die set already. Yeah, I do not think I would a 3D embossing folder in the Marquis either.
Yu are so awesome, Marilyn! What a cute set, and I can't wait to review them. It was tough choosing a color, and I normally love pinks...I could have matched my gold little guy...the aqua matches my mat so well! LOL! I just thought Coral would be nice and fresh. (:
VianneyCreates Most of my craft room is teal, but I think coral would look cute too. I will just see what is available when I order. I sure hope they have enough for those of us who want one.
I just love the size and it's so Quiet. I watch a video with Anna couple days ago and she said she would be at craft day in May on h sn. I wonder if they are not doing one in April because of cov19? I really would love this new machine and hate waiting. I guess we will see. !
Waiting is tough, especially bc all of the uncertainty right now. It looks like full steam ahead for the 14th, though. I know some of the DP kits are already on the site. TYSM for your kind comment!
Enjoyed watching this tutorial video. I took my Diamond Press on vacation with me this early Sept. OMGosh I was so immpressed with that soft buttery turning of the wheel you mention. That was my description to friends. HOWEVER my love ended right there. I was cutting out a lot of repeated use of dies over and over. Some very intricate ones and a few less so. But their folders didn't hold up. Not only warped but no matter how I turned them often within 3 to 5 runs they wouldn't allow me to run anything else through. I tried making new ones out of the vinyl cutting mats for kitchens and they warped just as bad. So my project involved other brands of dies. I know Diamond express dies are ultra thin. I bought a set that incuded the machine a huge start up of clear cling stamps, storage envelopes, a lovely file box for all things and folders to get me started plus a few nesting dies too. WELL....dang! I have other machines. A Platinum the larger one. Now the smaller one, I gifted a 6 inch other machine not used to the neighbor who fell in love with die cutting too. And I have the mini Tim Holtz Sizzix sidekick plus a small Gemini electric. So I have machines. What I love about the Diamond is it's weight and ability to stay in place on most surfaces. Not just the buttery cranking out of die cuts. I have been very careful not to harm this machine when trying anything out in it like those vinyl sheets. I checked in hopes the Gemini Folders they too made years ago might fit the Diamond but they were too thick so no go. I hadn't even thought of sending any of my embossing folders through. I have both 2D and 3D like you. A huge selection actually of both. But after seeing how their die cutting folders warp I'd be afraid to send any embossing folder through for fear it too would warp badly. If not right away within a few uses. Anyway I'm off to find out more info about the Diamond Press overall. I so want to like it better.
Sorry, I think I glossed over the name because I showed them all when I hauled them the other day. It's "Bold Butterfly." I love the Marquise, no sandwiches to remember just a folder for cutting and the embossing folders by themselves! Love it!
The cutting folder on this is slightly wider than the Empress Mini (like 1/8"), so it truly can cut 4 1/4" design elements. It is a fraction of the cost and uses inexpensive cutting folders. No sandwiches to remember or expensive plates to buy. Yes, there have been other crank machines, but this one is larger than a lot of the other ones and works amazingly well. I love it, and I'm sure beginners or people who just want a grab & go that can cut so much larger will love it, too! (: TY!!
YES, I GET WHAT YOU ARE SAYING. BUT I STAND BY WHAT I SAID IF YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED CRAFTER. YES, THE MINI EMPRESS COSTS MORE BUT IT IS WELL WORTH IT. STAY SAFE, GIRL.
We're doing well. It'll be three weeks tomorrow of staying at home, and we are all great. My husband does go back and forth for work which worries me, but so far so good. Be well!

Thank you. It is very easy to use, it feels like you're doing nothing and then it comes out cut perfectly!! I hope you are well.
I just love your videos! You are so honest and thorough!
That is my highest compliment!! TY!!
Once again another great review! I'm waiting for a pretty PINK one!!! I like that this machine is super quiet! Thanks V! 🙋🏼♀️

TYSM! What a kind comment!! That folder I bought probably a decade ago!! LOL! I think it's Darice brand and I remember getting it at JoAnns. (:
Great review on the Diamond Press. Very versatile little machine.
Thank you so very much!!
Thank you for the information because it is very important so that the machine won't get damaged.👍❤
Absolutely!! Thanks so much!!
I have been using a Cuttlebug for years - this machine does look very nice
I loved my Cuttlebug, too...but after Cricut ditched it...the plates are impossible to find. I the Marquise is a great replacement! (:
This is so cute, I definitely want it! Thanks for showing how easy other dies work in it. Great job Vianney! 😊
Happy to help, Cathy! I hope you are all today. (:
I am getting use to a different way of life. I picked up my first order of groceries online, it went very smoothly today. Be safe and stay healthy! 😊
We have to do what we have to do. Be well, my friend.
Thanks Vianney, you and your family do the same, my friend!
This looks awesome. Do I need another ‘little’ die cutting machine? Maybe!!! You always make things look GOOD.
LOL! You always crack me up. (:
This is great, I am definitely thinking of purchasing this when it comes out
It really is a great little machine, no sandwiches to worry about..it just works!!
Nice size. Can use it for many dies and of course embossing folders.
It's great! TY!
I'm definitely picking this up.
That's awesome! It's really great, and the whole bundle is really fun. (:
What about the emboss and cut folders, the ones that do both at the same time?
I would think that's pretty much like a 3D folder, probably a no go. I will ask, though. TY!
Since you have had your Diamond Press Machine for a while how many die cutting folders do you suggest that you buy for the machine for future use.

The small DP is a great tool!! This one is even better at the very useful, larger, size. (:
I love watching your videos ❤️

The pricing for the marquee on HSN isn't out yet. TY!!
Got my teal one today!
Nice!!! Enjoy!!
Will the folders not cut. With the dies and no other embossing mat ?
I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're asking.
Hey! Love this edit.
TYSM!!
Thanks for the info, waiting for the 14th!
It's going to be a fun day...I hope!! TY!
my julie nutting prima dies will not cut unless i add a thin peace of cardboard. have you had this happen or am i doing something wrong
I haven't had anything like that need to happen. Hmmm...they are just regular thin metal dies, right?
@@VianneyCreates as far as i know. i'm kinda new to the thin dies. thanks for your knowledge
Awesome review. Thanks!
TYSM!!
I hope I can get a gold Marquise to match my OG DP machine ♥. SO EXCITED!!!
That will be so nice!!
Very nice piece :)
TY!
You did your nails again.... cool!!!!
I did! I have a quick video to go along with them. I'll release it soon. (:
Love it! On my list!
Can you get extra folders for it?
Absolutely! They will be available on HSN.
I am pretty sure I will order it.
It's really great, BTW...did you see that you won one of the marker sets? The results are in the Pillow Box review, but i haven't heard from you yet.
@@VianneyCreates I sent you an e-mail, did you get it?
I just saw it, thank you!
What’s the name of that butterfly... I’m looking for one that big ..... definitely getting this big boy 😄

VianneyCreates yes no sandwich to remember
Darice folders have never worked real well for me. Maybe not as thick?
I haven't used them in a long time, but you're probably right. They're probably thinner than a better brand's embossing folder. TY!!
Enter me, please. So excited for a wider mini!

JUST WHAT THE INDUSTRY DOES NOT NEED--ANOTHER SMALL MANUAL DIE CUTTING MACHINE. THE ELECTRONIC MINI EMPRESS WOULD BE A BETTER CHOICE.
The cutting folder on this is slightly wider than the Empress Mini (like 1/8"), so it truly can cut 4 1/4" design elements. It is a fraction of the cost and uses inexpensive cutting folders.
