I’d do cedar point, then kings island, then finally Hershey park. Not a knock at all. Being worse than Cedar point is not a bad thing. I just think that Kings Islands lineup is just a bit better.
I made it out to Hersheypark this summer just because it’s only a little hour away from my hometown. I had a pretty great visit with extremely low crowd levels, however it broke my heart that Storm Runner was closed :(
Yeeeeesssss!!!! Candymonium is my favorite in the park and everyone say that skyrush is better but I don’t agree. If sky-rush had B and m clamshell seats it would be LENGENDARY

Just wanted to say how good your footage has loooked in your recent vids man! Content great as always with some awesome shots too ! Thanks for these keep up the great work. !
Great rankings and video! I'm amazed that Hershey Park has 14 coasters and they aren't like Canada's Wonderland where 3 are good, but other 13 suck. I've seen lots of videos where Mako still gets higher grade than Candymodium, which just speaks to how good Mako really is.
Seems like a really solid list! I was at the first reopening day for Hp and rode Candymonium on the first day, It was a great experience, Wish Storm Runner was open and the fountain was working.
I agree with everything here, except I think Great Bear is too high, and Laff Trakk wayyyy too low. It sounds like you had a bad experience on it, but it usually is very fun. If Hershey got RMC Wildcat and another launch coaster right next to Candymonium then I agree it could rival Cedar Point!
I got ejector in the third row of candimonium in the speed hill before the first helix. That hyper is my favorite coaster rn. It’s absolutely amazing blown me and my friends expectations away. We agreed it’s a thousand times better than nitro (I say it’s the best ride cus toro was down when I was at great adventure.)
3 weeks since my visit, so I think I know where to rank things now. We do all have our own preferences, and I have cooled quite a bit on B&M in general, especially their hypers. Maybe I've just ridden too many of them. But there's no denying that the presentation of Candymonium is top notch, with that beautiful station and the fountain. And the lift hill looks amazing as the backdrop to the entrance, from outside the front gate. 3 coasters were closed on me, so: 11. Cocoa Cruiser 10. Trailblazer 9. Laff Trakk (I fortunately didn't have your experience.) 8. Sidewinder 7. Wildcat (It was riding pretty good, only a little bit rough.) 6. Comet (front row for sure) 5. Great Bear 4. Candymonium (I prefer the front) 3. Lightning Racer (one of the most fun coasters I have ever ridden. I don't care that the airtime strength isn't there. The racing aspects make up for it and then some!) 2. Fahrenheit (I'm clearly an Intamin fanboy) 1. Skyrush
I know Kennywood is your home park, so I guess I’ll ask you, do you know what’s wrong with Steel curtain and why it’s closed. I’m going to make it to Kennywood this Sunday and saw it on the closed list. I was wondering why that was
Its hard sometimes having cedar point as your homepark. Not because of the coaster lineup or rides, but because when you visit other parks you compare them to cedar point and its not always fair. Hersheypark was actually pretty comparable though and really surprised me on how unique it was. I favor parks with more original rides unlike some six flags parks and Hersheypark is almost entirely that, a part from the boomerang, and the laughtrack. Great place to spend your day.
I wish Pennsylvania wasn't such a big state because all the big thrills like Hersheypark, Dorney Park and Kalahari are mostly on the Eastern side of the state and the only park I've been to in this state is Kennywood which is on the Western side.
Ur vid is amazing I'm going this year and it will be my 4th time going. Oh and u should do a universal studios one that would be cool I've been there before
This is my home park and I try to go at least once a year just for the coaster lineup. I feel the need to add my ranking. 14 - Wildcat: Just way too rough. Feels like you're being punched in the ribs over and over again. I skip this one when I go to the park. RMC/GCI please update this to a hybrid!! 13 - Cocoa Cruiser: Haven't actually ridden it, but I can assume it's a standard kiddie coaster. 12 - Trailblazer: My favorite as a kid, before I really liked roller coasters. Fun, but nothing to write home about. Pretty rough jolt when the chains grab the train for the lift hill. 11 - Wild Mouse: I like wild mouse rides and this one is pretty good at making you feel like you're going to topple over on the turns. 10 - Sooper Dooper Looper - Old school looper. Fun, but the loop is the only thing this ride really has going for it. 9 - Laff Trak: My first spinning coaster. Very fun ride for the whole family with some surprising forces on the hills. 8 - Sidewinder: Classic boomerang. Surprising forces on the drops, still a little rough. 7 - Lightning Racer: I like the dueling aspect, and this is a wooden coaster based on speed and laterals rather than airtime. 6 - Comet: Super old school woodie. Great airtime, and the added excitement of feeling the cars flex with the track. Buzzbars! 5 - Storm Runner: That launch is awesome. Short ride, but very very fun. Only down this far because it's down a lot and was closed for the 2020 season. 4 - Great Bear: Awesome, unique invert. For a long time this was my favorite ride in the park. 3 - Fahrenheit: I love the front seat on this ride. Being tossed over the beyond vertical first drop is such a fun experience, and all of the inversions feel really forceful to me. 2 - Skyrush: I love this ride. Super intense in any seat, ejector king, never really had an issue with the restraints. Could easily be number one. 1 - Candymonium: Great first drop, tons of airtime, gray-out laterals, and that cool unique overbanked drop/near miss element. Maybe only number one because it's new and butter smooth. On any given day, depending on how the rides are operating, those top 5 can be shuffled around. This list is definitely not set in stone for me.
i LOVE the laff trakk, unfortunately my wait today was an hour and they said it would be 30 mins but the fun mirrors and glow in the dark room was fun, plus the ride itself was really fun and fast and i enjoyed it
Great video! I haven’t been to Hershey since I was about 7 and still scared of coasters, so here’s my ranking 😂 3: Cocoa Cruiser 2: Wild Mouse 1: Trailblazer Hopefully I’ll get back to the park soon... anyways, great video, I agree with most of the rankings!
As someone who is afraid of roller coasters, I actually preferred Trailblazer to Cocoa Cruiser. I do not like height or speed, but Cocoa Cruiser did feel sorta rough for me with some tight turns. Trailblazer felt much more smooth to me and I felt like I could ride it again after I was done, which is an accomplishment for any ride for me. I can generally only handle the most basic of rides, so even family rides feel rather intense to me. I think Trailblazer's mild approach to height was the saving grace for me.
OK I agree with you the back row is fun on candymonium the only part I really don’t like about the back row which makes me not sit there is you can feel the trim breaks in the back in the front you can’t feel them as much
I love candy monium it was my first B&M hiper and it is my favorite coaster at the park sky rush is my formerly my favorite ride there I really love going to Hershey park I went their in July 3rd I been waiting at ride on candy monium even got its some of the merchandise like a sweat shirt, snow glob, pin, water bottle I really in love with the B&M hipers
Im a pretty skinny guy(was much thinner on my last HP visit) and SkyRush absolutely murdered me. It was insanely unpleasant and it could be an insanely amazing ride with better restraints. It kills the ride for me.
Im going to ignore the fact you put wild mouse ahead of laf trak lol even though I disagree with majority of your rankings..its still a great video and interesting opinion
Same!! Lol and right before I got on Fahrenheit, they kicked off a couple large people thinking their restraints were the problem but it was still having problems after they asked them to jump off. That greatly added to my anxiety waiting next in line. Then that rattle in the cobra roll screwed me up a little but it was a great coaster. Lots of fun!
GroovyNipple the thing for me is I just soo stressed in the lines but the second I get on in fine. That ride my stress was really bad and I was about to throw up. Yeah he second the ride started I felt like it was heaven
Jacob That’s how I felt in line for Fahrenheit and Skyrush! Watching Skyrush fly to the top of the lift hill over and over again was nerve wracking! But as soon as I got on it it I was like “Yahoo!” 😆
GroovyNipple yeah that ride just rockets you at the top. The scariest part was that at the top is slowed down and I was waiting for it to fly over. The most scary ride for me was The new hyper. That was my first hyper ever and it was soo scary in the black because I didn’t know when it was going to drop but I’m going to tell you that drop was amazing. Also ever hill I got airtime on it was insane
Was it your first vertical lift hill? I’ve noticed both the GP and enthusiasts get pretty nervous (and sometimes outright terrified) before their first vertical lift hill.
I’ve not been to Hersheypark but Blackpool Pleasure Beach is also pretty good at working rides around each other. It being my home park does disappoint me when rides just go off on their own.
Give Skyrush new restraints please lmao. I wish they would keep the 4-Across seating so you can get the wing-seat experience, but just redesign the lapbars
Just to help your thighs out on skyrush, as soon as you hit the break run unclip the belt on the restraint, it will allow the lap bar to rise a good 2 inches off of your legs while waiting to go back into the station, it makes a huge difference. I like your list as well, keep them coming
Your Laff Trail placement I think is justified cuz of a bad experience, and I'd have to disagree with you in saying I think Lightning Racer will be around for a long time cuz they don't really have any reason to demolish it
Lately I've been getting bored with Six Flags America as my home park. So I may be making the switch to Hershey Park. I mean frick, HP is only 1 hour 45 minutes from where I live :)
Disagree. I think Kings Islands lineup is overall more solid and diverse. I’m not gonna discredit Hersheypark though, they have a great collection as well.
I sat a bit to far away from the lap bar on Skyrush on my first ride of this year and ouch but I sat closer the second ride of the day and it was perfect
Is this just me or is it that I think I prefer Storm Runner over Candymonium? (I probably feel that most B&M hypercoasters are too cookie-cutter, and I am aware of the Skyrush restraint problem. I haven't ridden these yet so I ranked them according to the smoothest POV)
Wow sorry about laff Trakk, that sounds horrible. And I loved the suspense leading up to the #2 choice, great picks overall, and bold choice going with candy over skyrush, I like it.
I went here for the first time in 2020 so my list will not include wildmouse, stormrunner and sooper dooper looper. 1.) Skyrush, nice and intense, loved the ejector air, I figured out how to hold up the restraints for the first airtime hill, restraints weren't the greatest. 1.) Farenheit, really good restraints and airtime, loved the inversions, drop had really good airtime in front, nice and strong positive g's, this is my favorite coaster along with skyrush. 2.) Candymonium, felt like it was a weak b&m hyper and I thought it was kinda boring, for some reason it didn't give me the airtime sensation really. 3.) great bear, first b&m invert, loved the positive g's and the whole experience. 4.) thunder, better layout then lightning overall. 5.) Trailblazer, perfect arrow mine train, I love arrow coasters 6.) lightning, solid coaster 7.) wildcat, lots of redeeming factors, especially the seal brake run. 8.) cocoa cruiser, perfect kiddie coaster, isnt rough like e&f Miller's kiddie coasters, best kiddie coaster I've been on 9.) laff track, there was too much spinning on the brake run, it made me sick. 10.) side winder, its enjoyable the first half, but going backwards is extremely rough and painful, it gave me a severe headache 11.) comet, it was boring the whole layout and I was sitting in the back, towards the end a pot hole hyperextended my back and hurt like hell, plus the seat belts ruin the buzz bars experience, retrack is necessary.
15. bReAkErS eDgE wOoTeR cOaStEr (dude who counts this) 14. Wild Mouse 13. Wildcat 12. Trailblazer 11. Sidewinder 10. Laff Track 9. sooperDOOPERlooper (this should be higher but seriously 9 coasters here are great) 8. Lightning Racer (kind of gets rougher and less intense through the years) 7. Great Bear (Not the best inverted) 6. Comet (really fun with great airtime. My last ride was really good) 5. Fahrenheit 4. Storm Runner 3. Thighcrush 2. Candymonium 1. Cocoa Cruiser
A list for how much hype I have for each coaster. 14: Cocoa Cruiser 13: Wild Mouse 12: Wildcat 11: Sidewinder 10: Lightning Racer 9: Trailblazer 8: Laff Trakk 7: Comet 6: Superdooperlooper 5: Storm Chaser 4: Great Bear 3: Fahrenheit 2: Skyrush 1: Candymonium. I can’t wait to come to this park.
Skyrush is so painful, it is one of my least favorite coasters. It's so interesting to me that people either love it or hate it. Great TH-cam channel! Your video footage is amazing! What gear do you use?
Just rode Wildcat sunday, holy hell please either tear this down, GCI retrack, or RMC. It's just unbearable. Also, SkyRush is really rough in the wingseats and you are correct about the inconsistent rides, a lot of it comes down to how warmed up it is. A night ride on SkyRush front row is probably the most intense experience I've ever had on a coaster.
I love laugh track but I understand why you put it in last. I was stuck on the final break run for like 5 minutes spinning but still I like it since that only happened once
Holy okay so I don't really enjoy riding rollercoasters, but I've gone on a few at Hershey with my bf (and gotten into watching vids about them!) and Laff Track was one of them. I learned that spinning coasters don't agree with me as I got immediately sick before the ride even ended- nothing too bad, but I felt dizzy and 'off' and didn't really do anything afterwards- I couldn't imagine being STUCK on it while it's spinning for that long, hearing that freaked me out
I wish every park could be the same as Hershey. What an amazing park. It’s clean, and has (imo) the best coaster line up in the world. They focus on quality more than quantity.
agreed
Celsius, Chocolate Bar, Thighcrush, Legendary Mammal and Wind Walker are definitely great roller coasters.
*-nicknames-*
Cedar Point has the best line up by far. Hershey Park I would still put in the top 5 parks.
@@bkinstler420 that's respectable
I’d do cedar point, then kings island, then finally Hershey park. Not a knock at all. Being worse than Cedar point is not a bad thing. I just think that Kings Islands lineup is just a bit better.
Hersheypark’s lineup really does have an amazing lineup. I was gonna go this year but, yeah you know what happened.
Something to look forward for next year 👍
Yeah. Candymonium looks like a good B&M hyper and I really wanna ride skyrush. I also love woodies and wanna ride wildcat and lightning racer
Roller Coaster Addict thanks for the info! I can’t wait to get out there!
Me too!
Coaster Cinema same
That never happened to me on Laff Trakk. That’s why I like it
If hershey got an rmc whether is be a redo of wildcat or ground up, I think they would be the 2nd best park in America only behind cp
I think Hershey is a overrated park. They have a solid collection but a lot of bad coasters
and magic mountain
Personally i think KI would have a a better lineup than Hershey with an rmc, but thats just my opinion
@@declanc3412
60% of the Cedar Fair parks would kill for a lineup like this.
@@mig4868 Cedar Point, King's Island, King's Dominion and Carowinds are the only Cedar Fair parks that matter.
The uncontrolled spinning on Laff Track story was hilarious
Not really

@Liam Borg you’re forgetting the water coaster that was added in 2017
You know you’re old when you rode Trailblazer before it had a height requirement 😳
I remember when comet didnt have seatbelts and only had the lap bar like phoenix at kenoebles
I remember when the area where lightning racer and the boardwalk is now was just an open field of grass with some sidewalks and the only rides over there was the whip and the ferris wheel, they used to have a laser light show there too, I still have a souvenir cup from that year (1999 i think)
Sooper dooper looper isn’t ironically named. It was the second ever (modern) coaster to have an inverted loop. It was rightfully named in 77.
The name sounds like it would do multiple loops, like an Olympus looper, but it only has one.
Just wanted to say how good your footage has loooked in your recent vids man! Content great as always with some awesome shots too ! Thanks for these keep up the great work. !

Wow, that Laff Trakk experience is a blue ribbon winner. I can’t imagine spinning wildly in place for fifteen minutes!
It was an experience that I don't want to repeat!

Thanks!
The only way I will get back on Laff Trakk is if the line is super short, meaning the trains won't start stacking up onto the block brakes.
XscreamThrills ok, hopefully you can!

Im from the future sidewinder is now jollyrancher remix
I haven’t been on Cocoa Cruiser, Wild Mouse and Trailblazer in forever
My smoothest ride of wildcat was in the back somehow
true
Since 2005, my brother and I started taking the back seats on rides so we can turn around and not see the track going down. I love doing it on cat.

This is one of the parks where I have no idea what the rankings will be coming into the video.
Give Skyrush new restraints please lmao. I wish they would keep the 4-Across seating so you can get the wing-seat experience, but just redesign the lapbars
If it's possible, I'd love to see it done. The wing seat on Skyrush is the best place to ride.
@@XscreamThrills Yeah, When I ride it I want to try the back row wing seat, but do you have any tips to not get my legs amputated?
Honestly laff track should be higher just because you go once and it was bad doesn't mean it's a really bad ride
Just to help your thighs out on skyrush, as soon as you hit the break run unclip the belt on the restraint, it will allow the lap bar to rise a good 2 inches off of your legs while waiting to go back into the station, it makes a huge difference. I like your list as well, keep them coming
Hershey is my home park!
Would love to see one of these on SFGAm if you’ve been there!
Will have to wait for next year
Your Laff Trail placement I think is justified cuz of a bad experience, and I'd have to disagree with you in saying I think Lightning Racer will be around for a long time cuz they don't really have any reason to demolish it
I went this year and rode lots of coasters
Candymonium is fun as hell!
Lately I've been getting bored with Six Flags America as my home park. So I may be making the switch to Hershey Park. I mean frick, HP is only 1 hour 45 minutes from where I live :)
Nice! Not to far away!
Rivals Cedar Point? That seems like a stretch to me. It does seem to rival Kings Island tho
Disagree. I think Kings Islands lineup is overall more solid and diverse. I’m not gonna discredit Hersheypark though, they have a great collection as well.
Cedar Point is overrated, dirty and run down in my opinion. There are alot better parks out there.
It's been a few years since my last ride on Storm Runner, buts it's possible it could snag that first place spot next year!
I'm going here this weekend and the last time I went on a roller coaster was when I was ten and it was thunder mountain. I think I'm screwed lmao.
You'll have fun 👍
Haven’t been to Hershey Park and near of a decade… didn’t hear of candimonium till now XD
I remember in August I faced my fear of roller coasters at Hershey park, on Candy Monium and I have to say I agree at the place it’s in
Can you do a ranking for Kentucky Kingdom coasters?
Coming soon!
I was on lightning racer and that ride scared me. Although I do wanna go there again
Personal Rankings:
14. Cocoa Cruiser
13. Wildcat
12. Sidewinder
11. Laff Trakk
10. Trailblazer
9. Wild mouse
8. Lightning Racer
7. Sooperdooperlooper
6. Fahrenheit
5. Storm Runner
4. Great Bear
3. Comet
2. Skyrush
1. Candymonium
Literally can’t wait to go I been going since 2016 I didn’t get to go last year but I’m happy to ride the coasters in my list
I would like super duper looper better if it had shoulder restraints. It was really scary at the top. Felt like I was about to fall out
I would like it less if it had shoulder restraints. :)
XscreamThrills why?
Wow sorry about laff Trakk, that sounds horrible. And I loved the suspense leading up to the #2 choice, great picks overall, and bold choice going with candy over skyrush, I like it.
Trailblazer is also my number 9 and it was my first roller coaster I ever rode back in 2014 when I was 5
I went here for the first time in 2020 so my list will not include wildmouse, stormrunner and sooper dooper looper.
5.) Trailblazer, perfect arrow mine train, I love arrow coasters
6.) lightning, solid coaster
7.) wildcat, lots of redeeming factors, especially the seal brake run.
8.) cocoa cruiser, perfect kiddie coaster, isnt rough like e&f Miller's kiddie coasters, best kiddie coaster I've been on
9.) laff track, there was too much spinning on the brake run, it made me sick.
10.) side winder, its enjoyable the first half, but going backwards is extremely rough and painful, it gave me a severe headache
11.) comet, it was boring the whole layout and I was sitting in the back, towards the end a pot hole hyperextended my back and hurt like hell, plus the seat belts ruin the buzz bars experience, retrack is necessary.
Very surprised with how high you have Fahrenheit ranked. Good coasters though!
@@XscreamThrills let's say farenheits restraints feels like lapbars to me. The airtime was perfect airtime and nobody talks about it.
Skyrush is my number 1 at Hershey Park
My other favorites here are Storm Runner, Fahrenheit, Great Bear, Super Dooper Looper and Candymonium
15. bReAkErS eDgE wOoTeR cOaStEr (dude who counts this)
14. Wild Mouse
13. Wildcat
12. Trailblazer
11. Sidewinder
10. Laff Track
9. sooperDOOPERlooper (this should be higher but seriously 9 coasters here are great)
8. Lightning Racer (kind of gets rougher and less intense through the years)
7. Great Bear (Not the best inverted)
6. Comet (really fun with great airtime. My last ride was really good)
5. Fahrenheit
4. Storm Runner
3. Thighcrush
2. Candymonium
1. Cocoa Cruiser
You should do park reviews
Just went there, and I would vouch for the front of candymonium because you get to feel all of the air blasting you.
I use a Panasonic GH5
Just rode Wildcat sunday, holy hell please either tear this down, GCI retrack, or RMC. It's just unbearable.
Also, SkyRush is really rough in the wingseats and you are correct about the inconsistent rides, a lot of it comes down to how warmed up it is. A night ride on SkyRush front row is probably the most intense experience I've ever had on a coaster.
back left wing is twice as intense as front row
Lightning Racer tops my number 4 spot, it's a very fun racing coaster with the overall fun of racing.
Great video 😊💪🏼
Sidewinder same in the Space Shuttle of Enchanted Kingdom in my Province Laguna, Philippines hehe
I learned that spinning coasters don't agree with me as I got immediately sick before the ride even ended- nothing too bad, but I felt dizzy and 'off' and didn't really do anything afterwards- I couldn't imagine being STUCK on it while it's spinning for that long, hearing that freaked me out
Sheeesh, and here I was putting Great Bear second to last on my inverted B&M coasters list lmao
Storm runner is my favorite but I have not ridden candymonium
Same exact thing happened to me on Laff Trakk last winter I haven’t been on it since🤢
Dawg how in the world did you put Lightning Racer behind Super Dooper Looper
Because Lightning Racer is boring...
@@XscreamThrills super dooper loopers even worse lol
How good is the airtime on Skyrush? Is it better than I305s?
Airtime is vastly superior over what you'd experience on I305
as said in the roller coaster tycoon games
Giga Coaster #305 is to intense for me
you can't spell ejector until you've been on skyrush
I went to hersey park and I went on the laff trakk roller coaster and it sucked because the lights were off and I couldn't see anything!!
i love lightning racer for some reason
We all can't be perfect I guess... JK 😉
