I’m 62 - and guess what, women get more bitter and insufferable as they age (particularly in 30-55yr range). They do NOT change (there is an old saying a leopard can’t change its spots). My sister is 65, MIL is 77, stepmom is in her 70’s and they are still manipulative pulling crap at almost every opportunity - they rarely do it around me anymore, roughly 10-15yrs ago I started checking them immediately when they start a bunch of BS. I am a nurse, be careful dating younger women. I see it all the time with couples where the man is older. As the younger woman ages, she becomes bitter with him. And modern, westernised, with bright hair colours (unless she's Asian), tattoos etc girls are completely off my radar. My humble experience shows be skeptical of single women of any age. You'd be silly to think an insufferable 35 year old woman today wasn't insufferable when she was 25. This is why vetting is always the top priority, it's just easier to vet the older ones because for reasons no one could know they tend to reveal every red flag within the first 5 minutes of interacting.

I’m 62 - and guess what, women get more bitter and insufferable as they age (particularly in 30-55yr range). They do NOT change (there is an old saying a leopard can’t change its spots). My sister is 65, MIL is 77, stepmom is in her 70’s and they are still manipulative pulling crap at almost every opportunity - they rarely do it around me anymore, roughly 10-15yrs ago I started checking them immediately when they start a bunch of BS. Most men by as they age retreat to garage, man cave, hobbies (golf, hunting) to escape / ignore women’s behavior. HAVING TO TOLERATE BAD, ABUSIVE, TOXIC behavior is no way to live for 30-40-50yrs. I’m convinced this is why men die 5yrs younger than women (having to work twice as hard, endure hardships, and abuse).

I am a nurse, be careful dating younger women. I see it all the time with couples where the man is older. As the younger woman ages, she becomes bitter with him. She feels like he took her youth in a lot of ways, like he manipulated her. Now that she is more of a woman and less of a girl, she feels taken advantage of. And now she is 30 with her 50 year old husband who is at the hospital and she does not take care of him, visit him, or do anything for him. She just wants him gone. If she’s not American, she probably won’t divorce him, but she doesn’t like him, and he knows it. The best couples I have seen are those who age and grow together, usually from a young age, who are similar ages. But I see a lot of second marriages that do well if the couples are similar ages.

Now they are sort of the last option of these younger girls and they still can get a 25 year old here and there but getting with them is becoming more and more difficult and they have to put much more effort. I am a 39 yo (gonna be 40 this year in August) guy. I would not even consider anything serious with any woman who is older than 27. And modern, westernised, with bright hair colours (unless she's Asian), tattoos etc girls are completely off my radar. Even if I end up never finding the type I am happy to start a family with and end up living life on my own entirely - I would rather take that VS sacrificing my life for a relationship which won't bring me anything. Solo levelling is super underrated!

When I hit 30 I tried to date women my age. This was back in 1998 and I swear the women in their 30's were bitter then too. After going through the gantlet of the worse dates I have ever been through, I decided to give up on the women my age. I ended up asking a cute waitress out for dinner. She was 23 and I was 35 when we got married in 2000. 24 years later we are still married with 4 children. Life is good.
