What an absurd group of people. Loved every second of it. Part 2 of my Cincinnati trip will be posted tomorrow with my interviews from The Crosstown Shootout & Santacon. Truly a salt of the earth city, God Bless Cincinnati.

I'm from England and have suffered as a Bengals fan since the Sam Wych, Boomer Esiason era. I've never been to the states but before I snuff it I've got to go to a Bengals tailgate and then see them annihilate someone. I'll die a happy man.
Curious, why did you pick the Bengals or how did you become a fan?

Over here in England up until 1982 we only had 3 ( count them ) 3 T.V channels. Then we got the aptly named channel 4 and they started showing a 2 hour highlights package of the previous week's games on a Saturday morning and I was hooked. At first I had no particular team but I just loved the action and seeing people like John Riggins running over some poor fucker or Walter Payton sliding through an entire defense. Once I'd figured out the rules and got to realise which team was which and where they are geographically I just got sucked in to the Bengals by Boomer hurling it left handed to Collingsworth and the Ickey shuffle, plus they have by far and away the coolest uniform. I've always loved an underdog and we've been that dog for a long long time. Just now it's a real big pleasure watching this current team. Let's hope we go all the way this time. @@neilcurran1589 that’s such a cool story man, glad to hear it. Yeah I’ve always really liked the uniforms too. I was a kid during the Boomer era…that was a great time…but I honestly never thought we’d see a team come together like this. These guys have what it takes to dominate over the next 5+ years, I can’t wait to see it. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, but I am 1/4 British…my grandfather was from Stains, he moved to the US in 1945. Although I eat a lot of the British food, I’ve never been there. I need to go someday. Good talk, who day!
@@volta5550 Hi Volta, I think your grandfather may have been from Staines which is in Essex which is in the south east of England. I'm from Shropshire, if you look at a map of Great Britain where Wales joins England at the top I'm right there 2 miles inside the English border. You are absolutely right about dominating for 5 or so years , if they can get Joe, Jamarr and Tee in a room and sell them the dream of rings and hero worship for life rather than dollar bills then we are truly sorted. I think there's a decent chance of that happening as they seem genuinely level headed decent young men. England is a pretty decent place to visit and I'm very fortunate to live here. We pack a lot in for being so small, lots of good sport here to enjoy and lots of great bands and comedians. Let's hope we give Mr. Brady a very bad Sunday and make him consider retiring ( again ) and pass the baton on to Joe who certainly has the talent to emulate him.
