Hi Ned, i think things are slowly moving now, but i think it will be some time yet before i get back into the Philippines.. It's the quarantine there that's worrying me, i have heard that you are kept at hotels etc that are selected for this purpose for up to 14 days, maybe longer, and we are the ones that have to pay for it, and it's got back to me that some are charging silly money per night, and if that's the case it is gonna put a lot of people off from visiting the Philippines, i mean who is gonna want to go there for a holiday if they are gonna spend 14 plus days in quarantine which might cost more than the actual holiday lol, but it's hard times for everyone at the moment, and the Philippines government are doing their very best just like we all are in these uncertain times.. Yeah i have seen this list Ned which Yvonne sent me on Skype, but am pleased you have added it here for others to see.. I have always travelled to the Philippines on a tourist visa as that visa has always worked so well for me, it's not intrusive to get unlike most of the other visas, and there is no long journey for me to London to visit the Philippine embassy to get one.. If in time i was to be spending more time in the Philippines than i currently do i would apply for some residence visa, but one never knows what's around the corner do they, and in time we just may take the opposite route and bring Yvonne and Tilly back to England and set up home here.. I think they would have a much better quality of life here, well i know Tilly would for sure as she has lots of family here, but am not so sure Yvonne would like the cold climate lol, she hates the cold, and we stay together as a complete package wherever that may be (smile).. Yeah in some ways the timing was bad when i came back to the UK, but in other ways it wasn't, it was actually good timing, because my bank cards were running out over there and needed replacing which i have now done, and so were my clothes lol, but i have made good use of my time while being back here, as i have completed all the work that needed doing here on my home and business, plus today i even sent my passport off for renewal, so i am sort of all ready to return to the Philippines as soon as the restrictions are lifted.. @@ABritInThePhilippines It's a long time to be away from your family. Will they not let you in if you self isolate when you get there or is there just no flights being allowed in? Could be worse, Africa, according to a Radio Ham in Johannesburg is pretty bad at the moment. He was there and he was saying they are not allowed out to go for food or anything unless it is booked for pick up and some areas have t have it delivered and left outside. It is a bit strange as there has not been much said about Africa and how they are doing. India is also quite bad, but you would almost expect that. Interesting that as soon as Lockdown relaxes it starts spreading again! Pubs open and have to shut again due to people going there having Covid. It is all scary stuff. Take care and stay safe. I don't know how it is with your family now, but I hope they are all fine and safe. I don't think it is going away any time soon.

b. Permanent Resident Visa of a South Korean National married to a Filipino citizen under MCL-08-003
c. Holders of diplomatic or 9(e) Visa
d. Holders of Temporary Resident Visa (TRV)
e. Non-Quota Immigrant by Marriage or 13(a) Visa

Yeah i have seen this list Ned which Yvonne sent me on Skype, but am pleased you have added it here for others to see.. I have always travelled to the Philippines on a tourist visa as that visa has always worked so well for me, it's not intrusive to get unlike most of the other visas, and there is no long journey for me to London to visit the Philippine embassy to get one.. If in time i was to be spending more time in the Philippines than i currently do i would apply for some residence visa, but one never knows what's around the corner do they, and in time we just may take the opposite route and bring Yvonne and Tilly back to England and set up home here.. I think they would have a much better quality of life here, well i know Tilly would for sure as she has lots of family here, but am not so sure Yvonne would like the cold climate lol, she hates the cold, and we stay together as a complete package wherever that may be (smile).. Hi Lynn, they played lots of other games at this party, some were real funny, and i might upload some more at a later date.. It's Tilly's 7th birthday tomorrow and am feeling sad that i am unable to be there, but these things happen, and they are happening to people all over the world at the moment, families being kept apart, but things are slowly progressing now, and back here in the UK things seem almost back to normal.. Ha ha, am sure everyone would have liked to have seen me playing this Nancy (smile) but i do play it at home sometimes with Yvonne and Tilly when we see it on the TV there, it's such a fun and popular game in the Philippines.. Yeah in some ways the timing was bad when i came back to the UK, but in other ways it wasn't, it was actually good timing, because my bank cards were running out over there and needed replacing which i have now done, and so were my clothes lol, but i have made good use of my time while being back here, as i have completed all the work that needed doing here on my home and business, plus today i even sent my passport off for renewal, so i am sort of all ready to return to the Philippines as soon as the restrictions are lifted.. Yeah i have seen on the news how bad this virus is spreading over in the U.S, and my thoughts go out to you all.. You take care there my friend, thanks for watching...

Could be worse, Africa, according to a Radio Ham in Johannesburg is pretty bad at the moment. He was there and he was saying they are not allowed out to go for food or anything unless it is booked for pick up and some areas have t have it delivered and left outside. It is a bit strange as there has not been much said about Africa and how they are doing. India is also quite bad, but you would almost expect that. Interesting that as soon as Lockdown relaxes it starts spreading again! Pubs open and have to shut again due to people going there having Covid. It is all scary stuff. Take care and stay safe. I don't know how it is with your family now, but I hope they are all fine and safe. I don't think it is going away any time soon.
