Just my opinion, Juju has a breakout year, becomes a top 10 guy. Deegan show, kitchen has nothing for him. No one has the will to win like Deegan does and that drives him. Vialle dominates East coast no issue. West coast is all Deegans
Levi was the best guy last year apart from forkner, forkner can win the title if he stays healthy on the new bike you’re so one minded u don’t think about anyone but the big names
Have to see who all races east. Forkner is racing east i believe and if he can actually stay healthy, he will smoke Vialle. RJ may also be racing east since he got hurt and might not be ready for a1 and he will probably also smoke Vialle. Vialle does have consistency going for him but I don’t see any way he dominates supercross. He was lucky to win the title last season.
I’ve know Coty since 50s he’s definetly gotten so good over the years and has done amazing since going back to Yamaha. I can see him being top 10 contender this year and some top 5s
this was well put. deegan also is coming into supercross with last years chip on his shoulder. he will not let tom or really anyone come between the sx title
I agree with doc on the Levi ranking cuz it might just be my personal opinion or bias but he’s the only guy i think could actually beat Deegan in supie, like you actually said take away the mcadoo teammate takeaway Levi was actually the best overall 250 supercross guy last year
@@stratathrillz i have and his corner speed is horrible and he is still trying to adapt. He isn't even sure if he is going to race this year. Per his words on a podcast
Im very new to this, some riders will only do half the supercross season? Did you say deegan wont be going to east coast was hoping the see him at the massachusetts race
Masterpool this year other than R.J, Hymas, Shimoda, Vialle is probably the only other that can take it to Deegan outdoors consistently. Kitchen needs to work on his late race pace he just fades to much to be consistent. Masterpool if fit will be top 10 after we get through MX. Anstie will nail SX for sure and since we haven't seen him much in MX if at all in the last 4 years but he will easily be top 5 and Deegan will want to pray he's on oposite coast in SX
@@ExHiiBiT Yeah I could maybe put Beamuer higher although he’s hasn’t really been a top 5 guy yet besides the first two smx rounds, I think 15 back could be bottom half of the top ten in sx or could battle for podiums
I don’t even like hymas but not putting him over guys like smith mcadoo and beaumer doesn’t make sense to me. Even forkner is a question mark. I think hymas is definitely top 5 easy if not podium on either coast and podium guy outdoors
I dont know about podium guy in SX just yet. He struggled a lot last year. I can see him changing that around this year but will be tough coming off that knee surgery
@ maybe not but even if he’s a 5th place guy in supercross and a podium guy in motocross I feel like he should be well above mcadoo and smith who are normally not top 5 and sometimes not top ten in outdoors
I think Jo's a bit underrated here. He finished in the top 4 every round he finished last year (he had the one mechanical DNF at SF that cost him a ton of points), and in those races he had an average finish of 3, which would've been the best average finish in the class. This is despite not getting a start inside the top 6 until round 7 (including individual triple crown motos). Honestly, if Jo gets the starts he was getting at the end of last year (top 3 start in 2 of the last 3 main events + top 3 start in each TC moto at St. Louis), I think he could legitimately win a title. That's the thing that holds him back imo, not speed or even aggressiveness (dude made a ton of passes last year). If I had to rank them heading in: 1. Kitchen (starts were insane, and the speed's good; triple crown machine) 2. RJ (speed's great, consistency's hit or miss) 3. Deegan (starts weren't good last year, the speed's obvious, he's probably number 1 by the end of the year) 4. Shimoda (starts were awful last year, speed and consistency were very good) 5. Vialle (starts were great, speed left something to be desired at times) 6. Forkner (he's number 1 if healthy) 7. Smith (RJ but somehow more inconsistent) HM: Thrasher, McAdoo, Anstie, Brown. Just all too all over the place for me to pick them. Thrasher's got the third most wins in the class, we know Brown and McAdoo have speed, and Anstie has a pair of wins over the past 2 years as well. Beaumer and Chance are a year or two away imo.
Yeah I put Jo at 4 because I think hes the 4th best guy cause of the reasons you mention. One bad race really cost him the chip. For Sx, I dont mind those picks but no way I could put Levi ahead of Deegan
@@ExHiiBiT Yep, I don't see it lasting until the end of the year, those rankings are mostly just based on what they did last year because I don't like assuming too much until we actually see them out there. If Deegan gets his starts, and he's better through the whoops, I don't think anyone (minus maybe Forkner) can compete with his corner speed. Biggest thing that Levi has going for him is that his starts are insane, and with 15 minute mains on one-lined tracks, that's always going to be a handful. I will say though, he only has 1 non-TC main win, and that was in a slop-fest at Seattle. So, the short TC motos may be overinflating Levi's resume a bit. If I had to project, assuming health, Deegan, Vialle, Jo, and Forkner are going to be the guys to watch this year. Edit: Oh, also, these are just for SX, I completely missed SMX in the title lol. Deegan's number 1 in MX and SMX assuming he's healthy, there's no question on that; after that it'd be Jo at 2 and Vialle at 3 for those 2 series. Levi was good last year, but he had some help with those moto wins.
Tom Vialle did not get mixed up in the first few round PC crashes that cost Deegan the chip. He averaged top 3 and only won 2 rounds to win the east coast. Deegan won 3 rounds but that first round coming in 16 killed his season then he won the 2nd then Seth took him out again at the start the very next weekend in Birmingham Al when his bike was stuck to Deegans. It was those 2 races that really hurt Deegan and Tom capitalized on it
@@Yankssox Yeah, Seth didn't contribute at all to the title. He and Deegan got together in a heat race, and both Deegan and Vialle got in the first turn pileup at Detroit. Not sure why people think Vialle lucked into it, he was just more consistent than Haiden.
Good chance Hymas doesn't even race SX. Takes a minimum of 6 months to recover from an ACL reconstruction and as young as he is, he should really wait about 8 months
He will be a lot better now that he has a legit team behind him to train him. Don’t see him winning any races, but I think he will surprise a lot of people.

Kitchen is way faster than Frenchy! He just dosnt have enough dog in him to compete with Deegan! And when you have reason to talk shit then do it but shit man STFU already
Kitchen over Vialle is valid. Kitchen would’ve won had the Mcadoo crash not happened on the harder coast. Without that Mcadoo would have beat Vialle for the chip. Tom threw away so many races in outdoors and Levi won multiple races.
Everyone has said Deegan is going west, I don't believe he will. He ain't leaving the 250 class until he has both an east and west title! He will be the first to hold every title 250e 250w 250/450 outdoors and both 250/450 SMX, he will always have that over Jet because Jet can never get the 250 SMX! So everyone thinks he'll go west for A1, well he will miss A1 one year anyway, so why would he care if it's this year or next? Plus the fact he already said to anyone who follows the channel he was going east!
