You learned python at the right time. I learned it when I saw someone super successful using it and just emulated them. The one regret I had was not doing a blue collar trade along with learning tech, as a buffer for the waves of blue collar & white collar employment. I absolutely implore and advise any younger person to do that
The best way to go from 0 python to be good enough to build a game a data visualization or backend website is the famous book (python crash course 3rd edition of 2023)
I started my professional journey 3 years back from this python series and today am a Data Science Trainer. All the credit goes to this guy for setting up the base so strong. Thankyou so much for sharing so valuable content for free. God bless you abundantly!
Cool, this is very timely - I'm an old coder with previous convictions for Pascal, C++, Cobol (code-a-saurus!), various kinds of Basic, Assembler, SQL. Having not coded (apart from SQL) for a few years I'd like to get going in Python for purposes of embedding it within Power BI and other data analysis type operations. Cheers Tiff! 👍
People used Cobol to do everything that any other programming language could do. There are object oriented versions of Cobol. There was at least one version of Cobol that was created specifically for, in turn, creating operating systems. The set of visible characters that are used to code or make up the syntaxe of a programming language is one thing. The compiled executable binary code is something else.
Python is the #1 choice for Data Science, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing and so much more as well as heavilly used in backend server side web development. It's a nice language. Really having a fun time learning it compared to my most known languages like C, C++ and Java.
Great vid tiff 🤩 I think it’s good for you to reflect on what went well then and what you would do differently now with python I do that a lot but I also overthink everything 😂
This video is straight forward to how to learn python's fundamentals , after that it's time to be good enough at data structure and algorithms and system design and clean code then apply for job
I remember C++ was the go to for game development back in the 80s-90s, but now we got all sorts of languages to do game dev. I'm both a data scientist(econometrician) and game dev but I use python for data science, specifically machine learning, econometrics with R and game dev with C++, eh heh yeah I know C++.
Funny thing is that when I started in Data Science, the big debate was R vs Python. Given my experience with the demise of Silverlight, WPF, and UWP, I chose Python since learning it lead to many different pathways (as you point out). No disrespect to R, but it's a one trick pony.
Python is quick and relatively easy to learn, but it's so slow compared to C/C++ when a lot of heavy duty maths is being done. It certainly has its place but I prefer a well optimised compiled program for speed.
Python is not OOP. It can be used like one but it's not and will never gonna be OOP exclusive. It's misleading and not recommended for total beginner to start with one.
You will likely have a better time getting Python down first then DSA after that learn a framework related to what you want to do. For example if you want to do web then learn Django or Flask. Freecodecamp has some good courses.

I feel the same for having a backup for the backup. I'm entering into my 40s, I definitely wish I had did the same.

Python is childs play for a C++/assembly programmer, and C++ is Mount Everest for Python Developers.

Definitely need to watch this post several times. Thanks Tiff as always your a wealth of knowledge...
Interesting and educational video. Thanks for making it!
Thanks for this useful video. ❤❤❤❤
I love a good IDE. My fav is Pycharm

you making me fall in love with software engineering....Great video.. Keep it up
Been tracking Versidium's development. Impressed with the progress!
Great videos as usual Tiff!!
Great video, Tiff! I loved your PP presentation!
Thanks for a great introduction. I found your insight helpful and encouraging.
It is good and useful information , thx alot👍👍
I recommend using a container environment (doesn't matter which one) and use Python there.
Would you learn Scala now that it's bracketless?
Versidium is making moves quietly. Keep an eye on it!
I see Versidium as a long-term hold. Great fundamentals!

Perfect timing. 😊❤
Great content as always!! 🥰
Discovered today your chanel. Very good, Pedro Gomes - São Paulo - Brasil
At 2:16 you mention other more ‘dominant’ languages for AI & Machine Learning - oh I’m so curious what you’re thinking of! - great video thanks.
Only one I can think of that's dominant is R. Python and R are the top two.
great 😍😍
What are Python libraries written with?
Tiff, Very informative video. Your contributions are appreciable in Technology industry.
lovely
Great video

How start on the DevOps !! Would be great
The security features of Versidium set it apart from others.
I love these Computer Vision videos
What do you think about CS50P?
Muy bueno, saludos desde Venezuela
I always like your tech videos. You are my crush. 😀😀😀
Yooo👀👀👀😂
You neglected to discuss "Tuples" in your data structures slide Tiff.
Keep up the good work ✨
Thank you!! Wishing you a great day!
If you're looking for a solid x100, Versidium should be on your radar.
Brains and Beauty, there is such a Unicorn... =)
hey Tiff! huge fan. I want a video on ML/AI career, would you please provide us, thank you❤❤❤❤
i dont get the whole (self) reference in python what the hell does it do ? i mean why refer to itself
Awesome tiff
Versidium's recent update shows they're serious about success.
love from kazakhstan
Greetings from México!!
Please don't use yellow text on a white background.
The more I learn about Versidium, the more I believe in its vision.
Versidium's use case is exactly what the crypto world needs.
phyton is about phases

python is great! My fist language hehe
I willing to teach others C++ but no one I know is interested
Teach me
Teach me
I have trouble getting through this language and all those terms. Someone should create a glossary with exemples and simple definitions lol
I recommend w3schools Python site
🎉
Everything was fine until 6:30. When you started with data structures you simply jumped from ABC to something super complex and then 😂🔫
Versidium could be the dark horse of this crypto race.
Light orange letters on white background? OUCH Otherwise, love it.
My python wifey 🤣🤩
Woops! I think you forgot tuples @6:42

Does anyone want to learn Python together? I'm a complete beginner, we can help each other and stick with it better 💪
Can you help me trade better
Write now I'm learning Python, javascript and Dsa in c++ simultaneously😔
Am I messing things up?

Wonder if you make a Discord server.
I like you.
Intro ramble is too long, then a history lesson?
Loop 💞🎉🎉🎉 😘🥰
I like SNL sketches.
WTF! Wtf is this right click and run nonsense you're talking about??? You're supposed to be teaching people!!! It's F5 to run debug!
First view ❤
You are awesome!!
The title of this video is soo misguiding ! It surely makes no sense about learning Python in a diferent way !
it makes sense
Holy shit she is gorgeous
If you're not working on Linux you're not really a developer...
Disagree.
@@dloorkour1256 oh sorry I forgot about all those companies running their backends on MacOS, how could that slip my mind!!! Sorry! You’re right!
Python Object Oriented Programming ... hehehehehe
Gosh you are pretty
