Thankyou Mike for another great informative video. Skyline in Playa Blanca, serve Alhambra draught beer, gold and red, the red is really good but quite strong. Bottles/tins of Dorada Especial Tostada are good but at 7% you have to respect it 😅
Interesting and it cleared a couple of things up for me. A crib sheet on coffee (inc leche y leche) plus an video on Jamon would possibly be a idea for the channel. Great information and I must admit my favourite Island.
Worth pointing out that rosé wine is Rosado and not Rosada as a friend of mine realised when a fish appeared on her table😂 Favourite beer for me has to be Estrella Damm but to be honest, when a bar serves their beer in frozen glasses during the height of summer, they all taste great!🍺
Thanks for the great video. I knew some of these but learnt a couple of new ones. One question, if I wanted to order an alcohol free shandy, how would I ask for that? I am guessing it would be either una clara con cerveza sin or possibly una cerveza sin clara?
When I was in Sevilla, I asked for una jarra and the barman looked puzzled In that bar and another it was una caña doble. Not sure it was 500ml but it was nice nevertheless in rhe 42 degree heat. Later in the trip in Madrid I forgot where I was and asked for una caña doble and they had no clue what I was talking about. So back to jarra it was.
Really enjoy these language lesson videos, specially as there is a lot of words and sayings that are specific to the canary islands spanish.
👍👍👍
Thanks for that, keep up the good work a great site , we love your island.
Great video I’m looking to try this out soon
I love a Fanta lemon shandy, now I know how to properly ask for it, thanks Mike.
Brilliant advice
Covering the essentials, well done Mike.😃 Daz

Very true!
We mention that we love Estrella Galicia, but we also really enjoy Mahou, the beer of Madrid. What’s your favourite Spanish beer?
Hi Mike great video. I’m trying to learn more Spanish. Do you know of any good channels to look at?
1001 reasons to learn Spanish, is fantastic 👍🏼
I don’t know of any. Hopefully someone else will help., but in the meantime, try watching Spanish TV news shows, which is what we did, many year ago.
@@LanzaroteInformation thanks Mike
@@David-cm4ok I’ll try that thanks

Very informative Mike
How about ordering a rose wine?
Vino Rosado. So "Una copa de vino rosado, por favor."
We are always going with tropical ...as one of the local canary beers ...
Dorada is local too. Canarian company.

Oh wow - not one I’ve thought of. I think I’d go with: Una cerveza sin alcohol, con 7 up (or Fanta Limon) en una jarra.
@@LanzaroteInformation I'm over in November so will give it a try! Thanks 😀
When having a same again, would you say mismo or similar, or would both suffice?
El miso would work, but more commonly “Otra cervesa mas.” Or just “Otra mas."

@@stuartevans8154 lol! We visit Valencia regularly, but I think we’ve only ever asked for Cañas.
Seriously 😂😂😂
dorada pilsen love it or victoria malaga
It's never got cold yet but muchos gracias for the pointers on this.
Did I say cold? Apologies, I should have said warm.
@LanzaroteInformation no, I mean, I have drank it before it ever got cold, Mike,
Gracias from nazaret.
Yawn....
