It’s called Bleach cause the story is about purifying souls kinda like bleach. Also the manga has the best use of black and white in manga history so it looks “bleached” a good contrast of black and white some panels look very ying n yang ish. The story was originally supposed to be called black but the mangaka ended up going with Bleach
