  • DSP is digital signal processor, which can process audio signal for better audio performance. We all know that each speaker features its effective frequency band. Only when we feed the suitable frequency to each speaker, can they play full potential. That’s why we need crossover. You may say, I have passive crossover to divide the frequency, why do I need DSP? That’s because DSP can not only achieve the functions passive crossover supports, but also supports what passive crossovers don’t provide - flexibility and versatility. In this video, we make use of JAB5 to build an audio 4.1 system, then use AP to test frequency response, to show you how convenient it is to change cut-off frequency and gain with DSP. Hope you like this video~

Thanks for this video about DSP used as crossover. I would enjoy a whole series featuring your DSP!
By the way: Your videos are really professional, but could you have a native English speaker look it over before releasing it? Maybe some errors could be ironed out this way.

Hi, I bought 2 X 4 X 100w board to use in a 4 way system. The Sigma Studio only have a 3 way crossover, can anyone help me to solve the 4 way crossover in Sigma Studio? Thanks!
