Ok to be fair this is an extreme example of a very good weapon against a very easy boss that also just so happens to be very weak to the weapon.
Every main boss in the game gets melted by this weapon tho. Except mogh ig but that's not really an issue since he's where you get it in the first place

I doubt you’re even in a ng+ cycle yet, so of course it’ll be broken. All great weapons in journey 1 will stay great and all broken weapons stay broken. In ng+5-7 those broken weapons will turn into great weapons and those great weapons will turn into good weapons.
Game is easy bro, deal with it. Elden Ring is only hard if your build sucks.

This weapon even makes malenia feel easy as long as you bring a spirit summon to draw agro long enough to cast
So did Fallingstar Beast Jaw before the nerf, rest in spaghetti my favorite intelligence weapon
Every weapon is good if you have a summon to take the aggro for you lol
Fun fact, if you look your character away from an NPC, and also Don target lock them, they fight much less aggressive

Easy mohg
My cousins who always play together, both used this weapon at some point to bully invaders. Now they do other strats as they enjoy theorycrafting in the games they like that allow it.
Why stop at Gideon? You might as well be showing it off against the Leonine Misbegotten with how you’re using it on extremely easy bosses.

Im not ragging on you, its just when people say "Its as hard as you make it" what they often don't acknowledge is that gives the devs a heavy burden of making fights balanced for reasonable play, so you know there ways to be under or over prepared, as well as the burden of making the Easy, Moderate, and Hard playstyles fun. Not saying fromsoft doesnt already do that, but we can scrutenize them on those aspects, especially on a boss to boss basis.

Only the 2-handed moveset and crouch poking got the heavy nerfs. The AoW and 1 handed movesets are still fine
