Either the front landing wheels had a tire blow out or it failed to engage at all. The pilot did good getting the plane down safely. If you want to see a good movie there is one called “Plane” which is excellent!

Firefighting vehicles are clearly delayed. In many airports there is no end of the runway and this landing would have turned into tragedy.
