Nirmal Bro good question, the bible was translated in English by the King James. But when he did it he wants his name to be everlasting, so he used his owne name instead of Jacob.

Sorry bro King James don't use his name instead of Jacob in New Testament. But New Testament translated thru Vulgate that is Latin Old and New Testament written by Father Jerome in A.D. 4th century. There Jacob is Iacomus. Until 13th century they use that Iacomus in English instead of Jacob. But in the 14th century Iacomus anglonized into James and believed that Jacob is James. So in the KJV they used that James instead of Jacob in New Testament alone. Whether James or Jacob it's not important for us to enter into eternal salvation. Just praise God for the Bible we have.
