    Man, you’re not joking, your videos are really deep. This is not only tutorial on Volca Modular, but on modular in general. My favourite part was explaining the S/H in bitwig :)
    I struggle tu use „raw” Volca Modular musically though… I mainly use it as a chaos generator, paired with Valhalla SuperMassive or Output Portal.

    Hey, nice video, thanks a lot for it! I have a question, how exactly does it work so you can connect input to input like you do at 11:45? That seems counterintuitive!

  • @Sm2n
    @Sm2n 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    12:05 how come you connect an input (a) to another input (pitch). Isn’t it best practice to connect outputs to inputs?

    Awesome video, picked up one of these a while ago but built a real modular system shortly after and completely forgot how to use it, happy I can go to this to help me remember

    There is a small mistake @ around 3.28min! Source goes first into Left Dual-LPG. And then it goes into the attack / Reaalease unit.
    Really nice video never the less..

    I think I'm finding out how they did the sound effects for a LOT of science fiction stuff in the 60's-70's

    I'm loving this so far, you've made an excellent walkthrough!
    I do have one concern at the moment, though:
    Whenever I touch the end of a patch cable, I don't hear anything like I do in the video (29:17 for example), and I've seen this work in other videos as well and I understand why it does so.
    Maybe it seems silly, but I want this ability available to me! I'd really like to know what I might be overlooking.
    Thank you for the video, at any rate. I've been playing with my volca non-stop since I got it, and this is solidifying my understanding of the instrument. Fun times.

    The Sequenzer in my modular only works if it is synchronised to Volca drums. Any Idea why?

    I've got my Modular hooked up to my Beatstep Pro and every time I boot them up I have to calibrate the pitch again or it tracks in reverse. Has anyone encountered this problem and knows of a solution to it?

  • @kaybhee6
    @kaybhee6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    how to connect keystep via midi

    • @crashdelta
      @crashdelta ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Volca modular doesn't have midi. You can connect the gate and pitch outputs to the volca modular using a 3.5 mm stereo y-cable.

    You should have given more audio examples and taken your time with the ones you’ve given.

      I think the focus of this video is to show you how to use the instrument
