Yes you can even go into industrial plumbing, an old friend of mine went into plumbing for areospace satellites for a company he works commission for.
You can do almost anything better without a union
I love doing high rises , it’s great , doing cast and stainless and pex on the 23floor while the sun is coming up is great
Nothing beats the views on a high rise that’s for sure 🌆
You dont have to crawl under houses in commercial I think commercial is a little less headache that residential
@Shane Gleaves it is less headache but I think residential has a higher profit margin. If you want to own your own business which sounds better?
Or deal with customers. My buddy does residential as handyman and some customers want to micro manage, try and help you or sit there and watch you do the entire job. F that.
Hi do tax take off a lot of money from you? Since plumbers get decent amount of money
30 miles from home?! i travel almost 60 just to get to the shop everyday ! (electrical) not to mention to the job sites
I'm hitting 94 miles rn to the jobsite
There's more critical thinking involved in residential and I like that. I like having to think things through because you don't always have open work space and your jobs laid out for you on paper...
Ua Local 78, Plumber's Union
Why are you not a fan of residential new construction?
Maybe because it's more a quantity or quality type work. Hurry up and get it done.
Watching this video after part taking in a septic pump replacement🤮
