"Get! Heal trigger!" The heals were the mvp parts of the game, kept them at low damage so they could get their best skills off, and it's amazing in my opinion. Shows their determination!

So, if I somehow give my vanguard more power, does the power stay the same next turn or does the effect disappear?

No,they get the trigger during drive check and they use the trigger to guard and send to the drop zone, because of that they use legion mate to returned the trigger to the deck

can you still use the skill of the legion for the 2nd turn(not the seek the mate part)?
So long as the Legion skill isn't "upon Legion, do this" such as the Menace Laser Dragon or Sacred Wingal Legions, they only work upon Legion.
If the skill is Act rather than Auto or Cont/Passive, then yeah (so long as you can pay the cost)

Like Seriously they even tell you how the fifth heal happened. You'd have to be dumber than Naoki to sit through the clip and still not have gotten it.
OTT legion isn't too bad using ohirume and V-series amaterasu.
won't get you any wins against the good decks but probably the only legion that could still work.
sadly ott is a protect clan. if it was force or accel it would be soooo much better, with every force marker and front trigger giving +20k
there are other legions that have been buffed by the V series such as ezzell(not ezel) and maiden of rambling rose which are both from force clans, but neither have the synergy of ohirume and amaterasu unfortunately.
