Does your hour meter run when plugged in but motor not running?
the hour meter only runs when the motor is on. mine has been on for weeks but hour meter is at 3 hours so far.
Is this a 2 stage compressor?

No, I have had a harbor freight compressor for years and it has held up fine on job sites
Right now they have an open box one for 225$ or the door, but only 5 days warranty, so tempted to thats about $380 off
