- Ways to lose in Death and Taxes as well as the Endings (time stamps below). You play as a grim reaper in an office setting deciding who lives and who dies, with your choices leading to consequences that may improve the world or doom it. Included is a good bit of the finale events with Fate as particularly with the bad ending there are a variety of ways humanity is wiped out.
I did not include every variation for starting the apocalypses. There are eight profiles that making the wrong choice with them will kickstart that appropriate apocalypses for low Health, Prosperity, Peace, and Ecology. Fate will mention them by name as the cause (if you didn't choose incorrectly with any apocalypse profile, Fate omits naming anyone and just describes that apocalypse occurring).

Fate seems pretty chill when talking about the zombie apocalypse with you the second time around.
I can replay this game over and over, because I love the VA for Fate... Gotta give it to the devs for such an amazing cast of voice actors~

Hello, I have just played the game yesterday and discovered a new ending. You can both lead the humanity to either balance or transcendence and kill Fate by obeying the red profiles‘ orders... The message from the final slide would be something like: „...as you gaze over your usurped domain“ 👌
Yeah, sometime after uploading this I realized Usurper could work with the good ending. Just haven't made time to add that in.
Really? I haven’t played the game yet. what do you need to do to achieve this ending?

I love how fate is just sort of "yeah alright cool" when you get the first good ending
Man I hope that there was a True Ending : everything is balanced, 50% of humans live and the other 50% die. Fate comes to the conclusion that it just has to be like that and you just return to work. It would be like an endless loop, everything goes on. Fate’s in his office and we are at the desk. As it was supposed to be. Kinda depressing but also reassuring ending that we’ll be doing this forever.

No problem! I did miss a variant but with compilations I'll usually have timestamps set and likely have explanations in the description. I also check new comments and do my best to answer questions (although games I haven't played in years I may not remember much of).

THERE ARE GOOD ENDINGS ??? wow... I didn't look at the whole video so I can try myself so far I have the Chaos, Fired, Low Health, and Low Prosperity endings. Trying to get the other 11 unlocked.
Good luck! Once you unlock items like the snowglobe and the lamp it becomes a good bit easier to get the good ending.

@@rugma1696 Because the globe shows your overall status and the lamp shows the outcome of choices previously made, so on subsequent playthroughs it's easier to pick the outcome you want.
So after my third try I finally got the good end so I decided it's time to watch a video like this. Really a great game. One of the best games of its kind
There is a new bad ending, which is super meta. *DON'T* mark a certain 7 people for their death, no matter what the task says, or *EVERYTHING WILL END*

I haven’t found anything on it, but I have finished every ending but it will not show me the percentages. The pictures are showing, but the names are locked and the percentages are question marks.

I had the best ending with low chaos in everything global peace and me taking over. It was a bit exhaustive but yea
i have 45/60 achievements and there is no way to reach some endings, it's a shame this game does not have any proper guide
I cannot for the life of me get the takeover ending, and the walkthroughs I found didn't help
It's been a while, so forgive me if this doesn't help: You need to buy some items from Mortimer that unlocks the dressing room. On certain days you'll get conversations there you want to pursue (a cloud should appear on days with new dialogue). You'll also have profiles in all red telling you to do X thing. You must follow those directions. If done right Fate's profile will be on the final day, kill him to take over.

@@jaden7f Oh, apologies it's been a while so I misunderstood. The takeover ending is from getting the balanced/good ending where the Great Dying is averted. You need to make decisions that boost the four categories to keep them positive and not make the wrong choice with apocalyptic profiles (they usually only show if you're already doing bad).
The snowglobe shows your general progress - if it isn't red you should be fine (gray will give the balanced slide and blue the good slide). You can also use the lamp to reveal the outcomes of choices you've made on profiles to help. Once you reach a certain point (Day 22-25 I think) you're more or less locked in for the bad ending if you have been doing poorly as profiles have a serious impact on your score are pretty rare.

... There was a zombie ending that I missed because on the run when I got that guy, I was trying to get the off yourself ending and then I started over to get a good ending. Smh I missed the zombies smh smh
Also I can't help but feel like the central conflict of this game could be improved if they allowed immortals to unionise so they can have vacations and stuff. Steal the concept of union from those useless humans!? What a concept. 😂
The zombie ending should be triggered by having a very low health score. This can be automatically triggered by having Caleb Sadi Rondeau(?) be killed if his profile comes as you will not be able to recover from the huge health hit you'll take (I think a similar profile for Carrie Ann Driver(?) will also trigger this apocalypse).
@@CrankyTemplar oooh, so it doesn't HAVE to be him! Good to know! I assumed all the bad endings were similar so I only got it once or twice.
Nope, if you don't choose wrong with an apocalypse profile but your score is low in that area you'll get the apocalypse but Fate won't name a person tied to it. These apocalypse profiles lower your score by so much it's unrecoverable since these profiles only really show if you're doing poorly and come halfway through the game (when once you're 75% done you can't really affect your scores much).

There don't seem to be any opposite like saintly people, I wonder if they'll add them!
What happens if you start the dystopian path, but when you get the chance to kill Fate, you say live? Does it just put you on another path without him acknowledging that you could kill him?
If you spare Fate it's -1000 to all categories so you get the Great Dying ending. There's some minor dialogue changes where you can mention he's lucky to be alive but he'll brush it off.
I personally found it funnier to follow the Fate's Pet route and then save the world since you get a dialogue option along the lines of "But I tried to destroy the world!" and Fate is rather exasperated by your incompetence.

I actually didn't like the ending i got.
It's basically screaming kira was right.
I got world peace and still feels like I don't give people real choices, it's all me, manipulating things.
But think of all the devious strategies you can play once you get reminded how the little horse-shaped pieces move.

Overall this game has cool ideas but is mediocre overall.
There's a lot I like about this game but I think some of it diminished after having to replay for different variants.

The bad endings seem like where the world is heading as a whole, trump or no trump. It's an obvious critique of capitalism and modern society.
