Thanks for another video. All of your videos are by far the easiest to understand on MSFS 2024.

A somewhat unrelated question, but I've just started the career mode in MSFS 2024 and I'm a bit confused when doing missions. There seems to be a flight plan already plotted into the G1000 for the mission. But you also get these 3D guide loops you can fly through and follow to complete the mission, like fly a circle around a town on a flightseeing mission. But these guides doesn't seem to coincide with the flight plan, so when I turn them off it's very difficult to get a good score for the mission. Do you know what's going on here? Are the flight plans for career mode missions lacking?

Yeah I know what you're talking about. I've ran into the same problem. I think the career mode missions are kind of just lacking. I did hear from the developers that they are going to add the option to create your own flight plan for career missions so that should hopefully fix the issue.

@@DizzySloth02 Ah, so you can't change the flight plan in career mode yet? My next course of action would be to try that, but I guess it's keeping the 3D hoops on for now, then.

@@MetalGamer666I’ve done this and you can complete most missions but you will be screwed on your score at the end of the mission.

Great again! Is there a way to export a file with the complete flight plan from skyvector and simply upload it to the G1000?

Great Tutorial! This will help a lot with planning!
Quick question.. What does it mean when the GPS says TERM on the heading dial on the PFD screen? I've entered a route before and the GPS would never track when in NAV mode. I've seen it say SUSP and OBS and ENR before. I usually just have to go into my flight plan and direct to the airport.

Good question. As for TERM, I've done some research and can't seem to figure that out so I'm not sure. If i find out I'll lyk. Also if you're having trouble getting the autopilot to track your flight plan... Hit FPL then highlight the point that you want to fly to first, then press direct, enter, activate. Then your autopilot should track direct to the first point on the flight plan and then continue to track the rest of the flight plan.

I've had a lot of questions about this so I'm thinking I'm going to make a video on it

Can't you find a PDF manual online for the G1000?
