go to the beach and stand at the end of the pier. at about 7.30pm on fri, sat or sun, greg will come and give a fishing rod to you. put all your fish in the pond in your farm, and feed them everyday. the number will increase itself n once u have 50 fish in your pond, greg will come to your farm n give u a fishing pole, which is a lot better than fishing rod coz the chance to get fish is increasing. and don't throw rubbish in the sea coz i heard it'll decrease the chance of you catching the fish.

To get fishing rod just go to the beach in morning and talk to the fisherman, if you have 50+ fish in your pond he gives you fishing rod afterwards
@STRxtreme go to blacksmith to upgrade tools, but you need to get an Ore (depending on what % will be upgrade) before you upgrade a tool.
