This is a great question, but also hard to answer without knowing anything about your family- homeschool can look very different from family to family based on your needs. That being said, if I have learned anything over the years, it’s to focus on encouraging a love of learning. Get out in nature on walks. Take a magnifying lens. Get up close and examine leaves, bugs, critters. Draw them in a notebook. Research them in a library. Copy facts. Take notes. Write paragraphs about what you learns (adapt all this to age). Read, read, read! Listen to audio books. Take field trips. Linger on history your kids find fascinating (biographies tend to be more interesting that stories about events)- again, copy facts, take notes and form paragraphs or essays on what you learned or answering questions about WHY they think things happened and defend their opinion citing facts. You can come up with a plan and use curriculum if you like- but stay loose to the plan and consistent to a dedicated time of day for school. Hopefully my other homeschool videos will help to answer more if your questions.😊
Great video educating about the differences. With so many schools doing virtual school right now, I think the lines are getting blurred in many people's minds. You explained and broke it down very well.
It's quite impressive insights you have there, and how you discussed this important topic is amazing.. I'm a homeschool mom of my only kid, and this helps me understand more
I'm so glad you found it helpful! Please let me know if there are other topics you would find helpful- I genuinely want to make videos that serve my viewers well! 🙂
