Going to CDL school now, and practicing this parallel parking maneuver. You really break it down to a simplicity that is easily observed and readily assimilated. Thanks for your channel and these extremely helpful videos.
I failed my parallel yesterday. My instructor had me start my intial turn when the first cone is in the middle of the tandems but i never have enough room to back all the way in when i do it that late. I noticed you were starting your initial turn before the trailer even got to the first cone.
Could you do a couple videos doing an alley dock with a 28ft trailer and maybe a parallel park with a 28ft trailer please and thanks . I appreciate the videos and game for help .
Hey Skills! I've been driving for 10+ years. I've noticed that people RARELY talk about Drive Tire Exposure. 6:23. I've seen damaged mudflaps and bent poles because the drivers were unaware. I think it's kind of a big deal. Also, great game! I'm wondering if there might possibly be an in-cab view in the future. Thanks for sharing.
Ya, I'll add it to my list of list. Thx man. No incab view in the future. Not when you have American Truck Simulator out there that does an amazing job of in can view.
is the level MTSlevel_4 playable on PC or just a tutorial? I don't see the dark road map that replicates a testing site only the light road maps with trucks on the right side ? Great explanation btw! Loving the software!
@@MyTruckingSkills I was with them for 6 months. Started back in 2018. I'm now working for a Russian company out of Chicago. Been with them since. Make A LOT of money. Home when I want. Great dispatchers. Always pay on time. It's a year to pay off the schooling, but honestly I hate reefer. Mainly cause of the early delivery times lol
Actually it has. I've had 100s of people say it made the life much easier for them in truck school. Truck schools use this game. It gets them used to what way they turn the steering wheel while in reverse.
Yes, the vehicle is moving, and the driver is moving with the truck, simply by sitting inside the cab. Unless we drove with a drone providing an aerial view, the "stationary illusion" is actually more realistic from the driver's point of view.
I have tons on videos in the real world doing this kinda stuff, this is just easier to do and show, plus I kinda retired from trucking because my videos and games pay the bills now.
Dude, it's on TH-cam. I've got 70 real truck videos, if you don't know how TH-cam works, go to my channel, then click on videos, then click on the videos older than 2 years. Been driving for over 20 years.
@@MyTruckingSkills dude I love it what are you about 20 years old. I know how utube works and all I saw was a bunch of backing videos were you just the yardman somewhere. I saw backing lessons from 1to 10 then after a few the cartoons start with backing and parking videos starting at one. Saw a chaining video but must not have been to slick on the yard because didn't see you do a steer thats when its slick

You have the best videos. Thank you for everything you do to educate people looking to learn. Invaluable resources all provided for free. Amazing.
Your game helped me practice and get my CDL. Thank you

Like this series
But in my test, I have to back park to the driver side, and I need to practice that more than everything on the test, .

Enjoy your content. Why do you use the term jackknife? I thought it was when the cab losses the trailer. Its a negative term.
Jack knife means that the truck and trailer angle is getting harder. Anything but an straight line is a jack knife.
It’s easier to Alley Dock vs parallel parking
I had to parallel park to pass my driving test at Prime, Inc
What size trailer did you test out in?
@@MyTruckingSkills 53' reefer
Nice, glad they teach you in those and not tiny trucks and trailers. How long you have to work for them so you get you school for free?

Where i need to go to practice your cdl driving skills ?
You have to download the game on your phone or your computer. Links to everything are in the description of every video.
Virtual maneuvering doesn't help first time CDL drivers. This is basically for us with much experience.

@@MyTruckingSkills that's nice, my man, just make sure they don't use your material to make profit off it.
Why not, it is a very good service. I need it, school sucks !@@yosefshawarma3739
Bro so u a game maker but did trucking for what?
Both, been trucking for 20 years, and I created the game (with developer help).
@@MyTruckingSkills Ah cool
I don't like that the whole parking space is moving. It is enough, that vehicle is moving ! Why did you make it so weird ?
Yes, the vehicle is moving, and the driver is moving with the truck, simply by sitting inside the cab. Unless we drove with a drone providing an aerial view, the "stationary illusion" is actually more realistic from the driver's point of view.
Why do you not show yourself in a real truck doing this
